Day 1, Thursday, July 17: Depart Home. Take an overnight flight to Manchester England.
Day 2, Friday, July 18: Manchester, England. On arrival at the Manchester Airport, you will be met by your private guide, who will assist you with your luggage and your transfer to the hotel. Spend an afternoon at leisure. Hotel: Kilhey Court Hotel. Includes: (D).
Day 3, Saturday, July 19: The British Open. Transfer to South-port to attend the British Open at Royal Birkdale. The course provides a formidable test of links golf and fully deserves its recognition as a true venue for the Open Championship. Transfer back to the hotel and spend the evening at leisure. Hotel: Kilhey Court Hotel. Includes: (B), (D).
Day 4, Sunday, July 20: British Open. Return to Royal Birkdale for the final day of the British Open. The Open was last played at Birkdale in 1998 when Mark O’Meara lifted the Claret Jug. Watch the world’s best golfers battling the elements as they drive down deep valleys between towering dunes on the finest links course in Britain. Transfer back to the hotel and spend the evening at leisure. Hotel: Kilhey Court Hotel. Includes: (B).
Day 5, Monday, July 21: Royal Lytham and St. Annes. Play Royal Lytham and St Annes. It was here in 1926 that Bobby Jones won the British Open Championship.His legendary shot to the 17th green is commemorated by a plaque. Day 6: Tuesday, July 22: Royal Liverpool. Golf today on Royal Liverpool, the venue for the 2006 British Open Championship. Despite its somewhat flat and benign appearance, Royal Liverpool is among the toughest and most demanding of the great seaside championship links of Britain. Built in 1869, on what was then the racecourse of the Liverpool Hunt Club, Hoylake, as it is more commonly known, is one of the oldest English seaside courses which lies at the very heart of the history and development of golf in Britain. Day 7, Wednesday, July 23: Royal Birkdale. Play Hillside Golf Club. Situated next door to Royal Birkdale, Hillside is widely regarded as the best links never to have hosted the Open Championship. The links provides a variety of holes in a majestic setting that will test the best players. The course is well known for its wonderful conditioning with very slick greens. The back nine holes are amongst the best in Britain. Hotel: Kilhey Court Hotel. Includes: (B).
Day 8, Thursday, July 24: Depart. Depart from Manchester Airport for your flight home.
