Two to four day tour for nature lovers: Visit some scenic Western Cape towns, such as Riebeeck Kasteel, Malmesbury and Porterville, sleeping overnight close to a waterfall. Wine tasting can be added. Visit Citrusdal with its artesian spring and pools, The Baths. Drive through the Cederberg mountains with spectacular views and wild flowers, to Clanwilliam and its reservoir. Continue into Namaqualand following the wild flower routes during Spring (July to October), or go West toward the wild ocean at Lamberts Bay and Elands Bay. Birds, seals and whales, as well as flowers in season, can be viewed.
Sumptuous meals of fresh seafood is served on the beach. Accommodation overlooking the ocean. Travel South via the interesting Saldanha Bay and environs, taking in the West Coast Fossil Park or Nature reserve to view game and flora. Tours are tailored according to your own interests, time available and budget.
