Day 1: Arusha–Tarangire. Drive to Arusha for lunch. After lunch proceed to the Tarangire National Park akin to the Tsavo National in terms of the flora and fauna. This park was created in 1970 and covers over 2,600 sq. km. The distinguishing feature of this park is giant baobab trees which dot the plains. Game viewing will be en route to Tarangire Sopa Lodge for dinner and overnight. Day 2: Tarangire/Lake Manyara. Early morning game drive in Tarangire. After breakfast drive to Lake Manyara National Park with game viewing en route. Lunch in Lake Manyara Serena Hotel. In the afternoon proceed for a game drive in the park. Dinner and overnight in Lake Manyara Serena Hotel. Day 3: Lake Manyara-Ngorongoro. After early breakfast you will proceed with picnic lunch and proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. On arrival you will directly descend the Ngorongoro crater for a full day of game viewing. In the late evening you will return for dinner and overnight at the Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge. Day 4: Ngorongoro. Another full day will be spent in the crater. Accommodation will be in your lodge. Day 5: Ngorongoro–Arusha. After breakfast you will drive through Maasai villages and the Meserani Snake Park to arrive in Arusha for lunch. After lunch you will drive back to Nairobi where you arrive in the late evening.
