Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Luxor. Arrived to Luxor, meet by our representative and transfer in private vehicle to your hotel. Night at hotel
Day 2: Esna. Embarkation has edge of Sandal then visit of the Temple of Esna. To lunch on Sandal while it installs. Discovered beauty of the river such at the time of the Pharaohs. Night on board
Day 3: El Kab / Edfu. Departure for El Kab, temple surrounds of impressive Ground walls. Further the tombs dig in the mountain. Departure for Edfu. Arrival to Edfu to visit the Temple of Horus. One spends the night along an Island to sands Dores or you will be able to bathe. Night on board
Day 4: Wadi El Chatt / Djebel Silsileh. Departure after the breakfast and visits of Wadi El Chatt, Bordée valley of Rocks covered of Hiroglyphes and Neolithic inscriptions. Visit temple of Djebel Silsileh as well as the chapel's ones dug in the rock. Djebel Silsileh with the pried of the Illuminated Temple. Night on board
Day 5: Kom Ombo / Daraw. Departure for Kom Ombo. Arrival has Kom Ombo visits Temple, Nubian coffee, the large one goes. Departure for Daraw. Visit market with the camels which arrive from Sudan after 40 days of walk. Night on board an Island
Day 6: Aswan. The desert goes down on banks from the River. The Dums palm trees appear, the boat passes under the Bridge of Aswan then one arrives for the tombs of Noble and the Island Elephantine, thus completing cruising in Sandal. Check-out and installation to your hotel. Night at hotel
Day 7: Aswan / Luxor. In the day transfer to the train for return to Luxor. Arrived to Luxor, transfer to the airport for your departure.
What is a "Sandal"? A "Sandal" is a kind of big felucca with two checkmates, old stone conveyor, arranged especially for these cruising. Luxurious by their scarcity, these boats were designed to preserve their authenticity and a certain perfume of adventure, comfort was thorough to the maximum, but not air conditioning! This cruising is single! Ideal for a voyage in family or between friends. The meals are very refined - varied and imaginative Egyptian kitchen and are caught has your suitability in the square or on the bridge, the drinks (mineral water, tea, coffee, karkade) are included.
The price varies according to the number of participants because we must reserve Sandal to entirely go on the cruise that it have there 2 or 8 people, the price is thus in proportion to the number of participant.
NB: This program could be add to another program propose in this website, thanks to tell us your wishes at the time of your request. Possibility of going on the cruise reverse way: Aswan/Esna.
