Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Cairo. Arrived at the airport of Cairo where our representative will meet you and assist in the various procedures. You will be then transfer in private vehicle to your hotel. Night at hotel

Day 2: Cairo. After the breakfast, our guide will accompany you with the Pyramids with the three large pyramids: Kheops, Khefren and Mykerinos; and the Sphinx, Lion with human head which incarnates the king or the god under an aspect avenger. Then visit of the necropolis of Sakkarah with the famous pyramid with degrees of king Djoser, the royal pyramids, the funerary texts, the mastabas. And to finish the day, visits of Memphis, a colossus of Ramses II out of alabaster of beautiful dimensions. The night transfer to train station for take the sitting night train in direction of Luxor.

Day 3: Luxor. Arriving in Luxor, you are most welcome. Our representative will pick you up and drive you to the boat. You will visit the splendid Thebes Necropolis: the Valley of Kings where the majority of the Pharaoh of XVIII to the XX dynasty were buried and the Valley of the Queens, which host the tombs of the royal wives and members of the dynasty. You will also visit the colossal Memnon Statue and Hatchepsut Temple. Night on board

Day 4: Edfu / Kom Ombo. Visit the Temple of Karnak, dedicated to the glory of the Amon god and the Temple of Luxor. Return to the boat and navigation in direction of Edfu. After the Passage of the Lock of Esna, arrival has Edfu. Departure in the barouche for the visit of the Temple of Edfu, the Holy City of Horus and the temple built in its honor. This temple with extravagant dimensions is preserved best of all Egypt. Navigation towards Kom Ombo. Night on board

Day 5: Kom Ombo / Aswan. Visit Temple of Kom Ombo, whose characteristic is to be dedicated to two divinities: Sobek (with head of crocodile) and Horus (with head of falcon). Navigation to Aswan. After the lunch, visit the Temple of Philae, dedicated to the worship of the Isis goddess visits, then the granite career with the Unfinished Obelisk and finally the High Dam Of Nasser giving rise to the Lake Nasser. Dinner on board followed of Oriental Show (Belly dancer, Sufi dancer and traditional music). Night on board

Day 6: Aswan. In optional: early morning departure in private vehicle for Abu Simbel, visit of the temple dedicated to Ramses II and its splendid Nefertari wife then return in Aswan. The night transfer in private vehicle to train station for take sitting night train in direction of Cairo.

Day 7: Cairo. Early morning, arrival in Cairo, meet and transfer to your hotel. Visits Citadel of Saladin, with in its enclosure the mosque of Mohamed Ali. Then Coptic Area, this district is older than the city itself: it should be seen to have an idea of the atmosphere in which the first Christians in Egypt lived. Coptic Churches, Coptic museum, church of St Serge. Finish the visits by the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities (founded in 1857 by the French Egyptologist Auguste Mariette). Night at hotel

Day 8: Cairo. Free day till your transfer in private vehicle to Cairo International airport for your departure.

Program: The order of visits may change, still without affecting the duration of your visit. Note that Esna water gate is closed from 1/06 to 30/06 every year. Vehicles are used to leave Esna, and the boat leaves back from the water gate (60 km from Luxor).

The Boat: Your cabins are furnished with bathrooms, private WC, telephone, TV, air-condition with regulator (N.B.: the name of the boat and cabins are known upon arrival). Restaurants offer refined courses, and their buffets cover the Egyptian specialties together with the international cuisine.

For your disposition: the reception (Currency exchange service before reaching Luxor and Aswan. Credit cards accepted: Visa and MasterCard). Salon-bar, swimming pool with sea-sofas and bar, disco and souvenirs shop.

Please note that our Nil cruise will be in 5 stars cruise and our hotel will be in 3 star. If you desire a cruise or hotel of a higher classification, please specify this in your request.

We do not charge you in advance for site entrance fees to add flexibility to your program as you may choose to skip one or more sites depending upon your interests.
