Fully Guided Semi Luxury Mobile Safari to Namibia. This is a semi-luxury non-participation safari where a crew will accompany you to make and break camp, cook and serve meals, and do all camp chores. Your role is to sit back and relax. Please note that all sleeping equipment is provided incl duvets, fitted sheets and towels etc.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Windhoek to Etosha Game Reserve. Camp for three nights, first at Okaukuejo, in this unique, world famous reserve.
Days 2-3: Continue in Etosha National Park, game viewing at leisure during the day, moving on to Fort Namutoni.
Day 4: Leaving Etosha drive north, to Ruanca near the Angola border and over night camp at the idyllic community campsite.
Days 5-6: Following the Kunene River to Epupa Falls on the Kunune River. Camp for two nights, see the falls and visit Himba villages.
Day 7: Turn west towards the exciting van Zyls pass, to overnight camp on the Kunene River overlooking Angola.
Days 8-9: Head south through Kaokoland, via Opuwo to Purros in search of the extremely scarce desert elephant.
Day 10: Via Huanib River bed, to Sesfontein and on to Ongongo. Camp over and take a dip in the spring.
Days 11-12: We reach the awesome Ugab Canyon by nightfall and sleep over at a Community camp. Travel through the awesome Namib landscape to Cape Cross and then into the Messum Crater, a millions of years old impact crater of huge proportions, Via the Doros Crater, an amazing geological area, to the Twyfelfontein complex. View the Burnt Mountain and the Organ Pipes.
Days 13-14: After an early breakfast travel to Swakopmund. Sleepover in Swakopmund for two nights. Some time will be available in Swakopmund to explore this quaint German town, and do some shopping (options include a sea cruise from Walvis Bay in the morning and after lunch exploring the nearby dunes on quad bikes).
Day 15: Dept for Windhoek where the safari ends.
