Discover Sweden’s southernmost mountains in the province of Dalecarlia (Dalarna). This unique hiking experience takes place at Grövelsjön Mountain Station, your base for 3-5 days as you explore this pristine mountain region. The options are endless on this trip, and you decide how you want to plan your days. Enjoy a self-guided hike on one of the many marked trails or spend a lazy day in the sun, reading a book by the lodge. Most days of the week, the mountain station offers guided and educational walks in the surrounding area and you’re welcome to join for a small additional fee and hike to spectacular points and learn about this beautiful mountain range.
This is a self-guided trip. You have the option of exploring the mountains on your own, or join a guided day excursion from the lodge for an additional cost. There are no group departure dates for the trip; instead you choose the dates you’d like to visit. There are a variety of hiking options on this trip, ranging from easy to more difficult. You should be in good hiking condition and enjoy hiking in various terrains.

Inclusions:
2-4 nights of accommodations in double rooms with private facilities, bed linens and all meals (dinner on Day 1 to breakfast on the last day).
