Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: We will depart Dublin early in the morning and drive to Belfast, where we will board the ferry for Stranraer. On arrival we drive north through some spectacular countryside to our base in Fort William, making several stops along the way. Day 2: Our first walk starts just a short bus ride from Fort William at the base of Ben Nevis, our challenge for the day. It's the highest mountain the British Isles, standing at 1344m. We will cross the river Nevis to join the Mountain Track, which takes us to the summit and back. Along the way you will have some stunning views into the valley of Glen Nevis and the surrounding mountains. Furthermore, if luck is on our side, and if we have a clear day, the views from the summit are simply breathtaking. Distance: 16km, Height Gain: 1324m. Day 3: Our next walk takes us on the last section of one of Scotland's oldest way-marked trails: The West Highland Way. Starting in the town of Kinlocklevin, we will first visit the famous Grey Mare's Tail Waterfall, before starting our trek westwards along an old military trail. This is one of Scotland's finest low-level walks, which offers an ever changing landscape and will make for an unforgettable day. Distance: 15km, Height Gain: 200m. Day 4: On our departure day we will leave Fort William after breakfast and drive down to Stranraer, where will get the ferry back home. Notes: Price Includes:
