From the purple legged ostriches of Samburu to the rhinos of Aberdares, flamingos of Lake Nakuru and open savannah of the Maasai, this safari incorporates the best of Kenya in the wild. Group departures are guaranteed with a minimum of 2 people. Each vehicle will only carry 7 people to guarantee a window seat to all. This does not apply to city transfers.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Nairobi
After arriving at Jomo Kenyatta Airport you are met and transferred to the respective Nairobi hotel. Use of room is not guaranteed before noon. The remainder of the day is spent at leisure. You will be transferred to the Carnivore restaurant at 7pm for dinner

- Nairobi City tour (2 hours) at 10Am and 2pm
- Bomas of Kenya (3 hours) at 2:30pm
- Karen Blixen, Giraffe Centre, Kazuri and Utamaduni (4 hours) at 2pm
- Nairobi National Park (4 hours) at 9am and 2pm
- Animal orphanage or safari walk and Mamba village (3 hours) at 2pm
- Art trail (4 hours) at 10am
Overnight at Holiday Inn Mayfair or Jacaranda Hotel (D).
Day 2: Nairobi Mount Kenya
Breakfast is at the hotel before driving past Karatina en route to Nanyuki. Lunch is at Mount Kenya Safari Club through which the equator passes. The remainder of the day is spent at leisure for optional activities available at the Club and payable direct. Optional activities: For those who wish to spend time relaxing at the Club, there are many recreational activities available such as horseback riding, golf, croquet, a putting green, a bowling green, table tennis, swimming, a beauty salon, an animal orphanage, fishing, bird watching and much more. Overnight at Mount Kenya Safari Club (FI).
Day 3: Mount Kenya Samburu / Shaba
After breakfast at the club we depart for a safari via Isiolo to Samburu / Shaba National Reserve. Lunch is at the respective lodge or camp. We spend the afternoon on a game viewing drive. Overnight at Samburu Lodge or Sarova Shaba Lodge or Samburu Sopa Lodge (FI)
Day 4: Samburu / Shaba Aberdares
The day starts with an early morning game drive before breakfast at the lodge. Later in the morning we drive to Aberdares for lunch at Outspan Hotel. This afternoon we are transferred into Aberdares National Park by the hotel shuttle vehicles to the Treetops for a night of game viewing from the lodge precincts. Supplement for dinner and overnight at The Ark is shown separately below. Overnight at Treetops Lodge (FI).
Day 5: Aberdares Lake Nakuru or Lake Naivasha
If your overnight was at Treetops, then the return shuttle transfer is to Outspan Hotel for breakfast. If your overnight was The Ark, then the return shuttle transfer is to Aberdares Country Club for breakfast. Rejoin your driver / guide and depart for the Rift Valley arriving for lunch at a lodge in Lake Nakuru National Park. Late afternoon game viewing and bird watching is enjoyed this afternoon. Overnight at Sarova Lion Hill or Lake Nakuru Lodge (FI)

Early evening drive to Lake Naivasha area for dinner. Overnight at Lake Naivasha Sopa or Rift Valley Golf Lodge (FI).
Day 6: Lake Nakuru or Lake Naivasha - Maasai Mara
After breakfast you continue your safari west past Mount Longonot and via Narok to the Maasai Mara National Reserve to arrive for lunch at the respective lodge or camp. This afternoon is spent on a game viewing drive. Overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge or Mara Simba Lodge or Keekorok Lodge or Mara Sarova Lodge (FI).
Day 7: Maasai Mara
Today is spent enjoying a morning and afternoon game drive in the reserve, with spectacular scenery and diverse wildlife. Overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge or Mara Simba Lodge or Keekorok Lodge or Mara Sarova Lodge (FI).
Day 8: Maasai Mara Nairobi and Depart
After breakfast at the lodge or camp you will drive with you will be driven back to Nairobi. On arrival in the early afternoon, you will be dropped off at the Holiday Inn Mayfair or Jacaranda Hotel (use of room is excluded) and then transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your scheduled international flight to arrive at the airport 3 hours prior to flight departure time.
