Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Bangkok - Sukhothai. Transfer from your hotel in Bangkok to the Bangkok Domestic airport. Bangkok/Sukhothai by PG flight. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel for check-in. Lunch at local restaurant. Visit the famous ruins of this first capital of Thailand (1257-1379). See the Sukhothai Historical Park, and Wat Sri Chum. Overnight in Sukhothai. Includes: (B)

Day 2: Sukhothai - Luang Prabang. Breakfast: Drive to Sri Satchanalai, the northern outpost town of the Kingdom of Sukhothai, built by King Ramkamhaeng. Visit to the Sri Satchanalai Historical Park as well as Wat Phra Sri Ratana Maha Dhat, which stands on the site of the Khmer fort, called "Chalieng". Transfer to the airport. Sukhothai/Luang Prabang by PG flight. Arrive in Luang Prabang, meet our guide and transfer to Vat Visoun, Vat Aham. Continue to visit Vat Mai then climb Phousy hill from where you enjoy a panoramic view on the city. Overnight in Luang Prabang. Includes: (B)

Day 3: Luang Prabang - Pakou - Luang Prabang. Breakfast: Visit Vat Xieng Thong, one of the most beautiful temples, then take the traditional boat trip upstream on the Mekong river to visit the famous cave of Pak Ou housing thousands of statutes representing Lord Buddha. Picnic lunch at bamboo cottage on the river overlooking its beautiful scenery at the confluence of the Mekong and Ou river. Return to Luang Prabang and continue by car to visit Ban Phanom, the well known weaving village. Overnight in Luang Prabang. Includes: (B)

Day 4: Luang Prabang - Siem Reap. Breakfast. Visit the National Museum (formerly King Palace) displaying a collection of personal artifact of Royal Family. Then stroll through the lively Dala Market. Transfer to airport. Depart Luang Prabang by FT flight for Siem Reap. Arrive at Siem Reap airport, meet our guide and transfer to hotel for check-in. Overnight in Siem Reap. Includes: (B)

Day 5: Siem Reap. Breakfast: Visit the antique capital of Angkor Thom (12th century): the South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, the Bayon Temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, the Royal Enclosure, the Phimeanakas, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. Visit the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor: Angkor Wat. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Angkor Wat's five towers symbolize Meru's five peaks - the enclosing wall represents the mountains at the edge of the world and the surrounding moat, the ocean beyond. Sunset on Phnom Bakheng, one of the two hills dominating the plain of Angkor, from where you will have a spectacular view of the Western Baray and Angkor Wat. Overnight in Siem Reap. Includes: (B)

Day 6: Siem Reap - Departure. Breakfast: Visit the floating village of Chong Khneas, located 10 kilometers south of Siem Reap. Visit the village and take a boat trip in a traditional wooden boat on the Tonle Sap Lake, the great Lake of Cambodia, one of the wonders of Asia. Visit to "Les Artisans d'Angkor - Chantiers Ecoles" and a local market. Transfer to the airport. Depart Siem Reap by PG flight. Includes: (B)
