Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Fly from Beijing/Xian/Chengdu/Kunming/Kathmandu to the Gonggar airport of Lhasa, (60km from the main city), meet our representative and transfer to the city and check in. Afternoon free for acclimatization.
Day 2: AM - visit Potala Palace, PM - visit Sera Monastery and Norbulinka.
Day 3: AM - visit Drepung Monastery, PM - visit Jorkhang Temple & Barkhor street.
Day 4: Morning drive to Gyantse, visit Drolma Lhakang, Yamdrok Lake, Samding Monastery en route, o/n in Gyantse.
Day 5: Visit Kumbum & Pelku Chode, drive to Shigatse, visit Shalu Monastery en route, if time permits, visit Gangjian Carpet Factory in Shigatse, o/n in Shigatse.
Day 6: AM - visit Tashilunbo Monastery and free market, PM - drive back to Lhasa via northern road. o/n in Lhasa.
Day 7: Morning drive to Tsetang and visit Samye Monastery en route, afternoon visit Yumbulakhang Palace & Trandduk Monastery in Tsetang, o/n in Tsetang.
Day 8: Transfer to Gonggar airport and fly to Beijing/Xian/Chengdu/Kunming/Kathmandu, tour ends!
