Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Fly from Beijing/Xian/Chengdu/Kunming/Kathmandu to the Gonggar airport of Lhasa, (60km from the main city), meet our representative and transfer to the city and check in. Afternoon free for acclimatization.
Day 2: AM - visit Potala Palace, PM - visit Sera Monastery and Norbulinka.
Day 3: AM - visit Drepung Monastery, PM - visit Jorkhang Temple & Barkhor street.
Day 4: Drive to Gyantse via Yamdrok Lake, o/n in Gyantse.
Day 5: Visit Pelku Chode & Kumbum Monastery in Gyantse, after lunch drive to Shigatse, o/n in Shigatse.
Day 6: AM - visit Tashilunbo Monastery, PM - drive to Xegar, o/n in Xegar.
Day 7: Drive from Xegar to Zhangmu, o/n in Zhangmu border.
Day 8: Going through the Zhangmu China Custom formalities, drive down to Friendship bridge, exit to Nepal, tour ends!
