Day 1:
VILLAHERMOSA
Arrive in Villahermosa and transit to the hotel for a welcome dinner and reception.

Day 2:
LA VENTA, PALENQUE
The innovative museum at La Venta displays important Olmec works in a lush tropical setting. Eat lunch en route to Palenque which is one of the best preserved Mayan sites. Explore the Palace, Royal Sepulcher, Group of the Cross, and the massive Temple of the Inscriptions and Lord Pacal's tomb.

Day 3:
AGUA AZUL, CAMPECHE
After visiting the blue cascades of Agua Azul, motor north to the historic walled city of Campeche on the Gulf of Mexico.

Day 4:
EDZNA, KABAH, UXMAL
Tour some of Campeche's churches and museums. Then visit Edzna with its Great Acropolis and 102 foot high pyramid. Then marvel at the Puuc style of masonry at Kabah before arriving at Uxmal in time to enjoy the light and sound show held within the ceremonial center.

Day 5:
UXMAL, MERIDA
Tour Uxmal's Temple of the Magician, Nunnery Quadrangle, Governor's Palace, and the elaborately carved House of the Dolls. Next, head for the glorious city of Merida and its Paseo Montejo, one of the most beautiful avenues in Mexico. Visit the parks and Spanish missions while enjoying the magnificent French-colonial architecture.

Day 6:
DZIBILCHALTUN, CHICXULUB, IZAMAL, VALLADOLID The magnificence of Dzibilchaltun lies in its stucco sculptures and ceramics representing several periods of Mayan occupation. Visit the seaside towns of Progreso and Chicxulub before stopping at the colonial town of Izamal with its massive convent built in 1561. Stay overnight in Valladolid.

Day 7:
COBA, TULUM, PLAYA DEL CARMEN
At Coba, walk on roads built over 1,000 years ago and then enjoy the breathtaking view from Tulum, one of the few Mayan coastal sites. Explore the Inscriptions Temple and the Castillo which sit on a ridge overlooking the sea. Farewell dinner and overnight stay in the seaside town of Playa Del Carmen.

DEPART PLAYA DEL CARMEN
Depending on departure schedulesM there may be time to stroll along the water's edge and search for bargains and souvenirs before transferring to Cancun International Airport.
