Day 1: Vienna. Following your arrival in Vienna, a transfer will be arranged to your centrally located first class hotel. Experience incomparable Viennese charm, tradition and comfort, in the heart of Vienna. Your Vienna card will be waiting for you at the hotel. This card allows you to travel around Vienna for 72 hours on the bus, subway or streetcar. The card also provides you with a discount at over 210 establishments, including museums, restaurants, cafes, and shops.
Day 2: Vienna. After breakfast, take the Grand City tour of Vienna. During this tour, you will become familiar with the most important sights of Vienna. Sights on the tour will include the famous “Ringstrasse”, Vienna’s main Boulevard, Mak-Austrian Museum of Applied Arts, State Opera House, Museums of Fine Arts and Natural History, Parliament, National Theater, City Hall, University, Votive church, Urania, “Kunsthaus”, Prater with giant Ferris wheel, City Park, Belvedere Palace, and ending with an interior visit to Schoenbrunn Palace. This tour will conclude at the Opera House.
Day 3: Vienna. This morning experience an unforgettable waltz lesson, at the celebrated Tanzschule Elmayer. The remainder of the day is at your leisure.
Day 4: Vienna. After breakfast, enjoy the city, as you wish. This evening, you will attend a memorable performance at the Kursalon, where the “Salonorchestra Alt Wien”, will create their interpretation of Viennese classical music while performing a selection of the loveliest melodies of Strauss and Mozart, as enchanting vocalists and ballet dancers create beautiful operettas, waltzes and polkas. After the concert, you may have a chance to waltz in this historic location, where Johann Strauss conducted his orchestra.
Day 5: Vienna. After breakfast, your trip is concluded. Transfer on own to Vienna Airport for your transatlantic flight home. Or continue your journey in Austria, or one of the other surrounding countries in Europe, such as Germany, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia or Italy.
