Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Tuxtla Gutierrez - Canyon - San Cristobal De Las Casas. Welcome to Tuxtla Gutierrez Airport before noon, transfer from this airport to start your tour for the Sumidero Canyon. It is an awe inspiring canyon whose dramatic cliffs of up to one kilometer high and the river's depth of up to 100 meters deep dwarf anything in its presence. We took a boat ride along part of the canyon which was most enjoyable. Wild monkeys and iguana inhabit the area. Transfer to San Cristobal de las Casas. Includes: (L).

Day 2: San Cristobal De Las Casas - Zinacantan and San Juan Chamula. Breakfast, we´ll take a tour to San Juan Chamula, about 11 km/7mi north-west of San Cristóbal, is the ceremonial centre of the Chamula Indians, the largest Tzotzil-speaking group. A large number of the more than 40,000 Chamulas live in surrounding small settlements. As is often the case in the mountain villages of the Maya tribe, three large crosses, symbolising the tree of life, can be seen in the village and on the hills. It is worth visiting the small church in which people burn candles in memory of their dead. Catholic rites and old Mayan myths blend intensely here and Zinacantán Villages. By evening you´ll have a city tour in this Village. Hotel in San Cristobal de las Casas. Includes: (L).

Day 3: San Cristobal De Las Casas - Palenque – Agua Azul - Misol-Ha. Breakfast plus transfer to Palenque, we´ll go to Agua Azul cascades, is a long series of glittering cascades coursing over kilometers of lush valleys in the Sierra Madre de Chiapas Mountains. The powerful, shimmering falls, white water and deep, clear pools, rush through steaming jungle about 50 km from the town of Palenque. Includes: (L).

Day 4: Palenque. After breakfast, Tour to the archeological site of Palenque, is a Maya archeological site near the Usumacinta River in the Mexican state of Chiapas, located about 130 km south of Ciudad del Carmen. It is a medium-sized site, much smaller than such huge sites as Tikal or Copán, but it contains some of the finest architecture, sculpture, and bas-relief carvings the Maya produced. Transfer to Villahermosa Airport. Includes: (L).
