Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park. Pick up in the morning from your overnight hotel and drive to Tarangire national park for game drive till lunchtime. Lunch is picnic in the park. Followed by more game drive till Sunset. Tarangire is famous for big herds of elephants and huge baobab trees. Lots of birds, flora and fauna. Dinner and overnight; Kigongoni campsite.

Day 2: Tarangire – Lake Eyasi – cultural interaction. Sunrise game drives start at 6:30am till 10:00am when you’ll stop for breakfast, then depart for Lake Eyasi village. Arrive afternoon – then cultural interaction with the Tatoga tribe (a very interesting tribe) Our Tatoga guide at the village will lead the tour. Dinner and overnight; Momoya campsite.

Day 3: Lake Eyasi – Serengeti National Park. Morning drive out into the area where the Hadzabe people can be found, you’ll go out on a "hunting expedition" with them. They use bows and arrow. After hunt get a bush breakfast, in the safari jeep, then drive to Serengeti national park via the famous Ngorongoro Crater. Sooner as you enter Ngorongoro Crater you’ll be able to see some wildlife en route. You’ll stop briefly on one of the viewpoints on the rim of the crater to enjoy the magic views of the Crater. Drive on with game drive en route to Seronera area. Dinner and overnight; Seronera campsite – wilderness camping.

Day 4: Full day "discover Serengeti" game drive. A day for the big cats - cheetahs, leopards and lions. You will go out for sunrise game drive at 6:30am followed by b/fast at 8:30am. More game drive till Lunch time (Hot lunch). Sunset game drive will start at 3:00pm when it starts to cool down. Dinner and overnight; Seronera campsite.

Day 5: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater. Sunrise game drives start at 6:30am till 10:00am. When you’ll stop for breakfast. After breakfast, depart for Ngorongoro crater with game drive en-route. Short stop by the Olduvai Gorge – a famous Historical site for a visit. A resident Anthropologist will give a lecture about Human evolution and life at Olduvai Gorge – 20 million years ago. Museum fee - $3 pay direct. Dinner and overnight; Simba campsite – wilderness camping on the rim of the crater.

Day 6: Early breakfast; descend into the crater for crater tour. Game drive to discover the secrets of the hidden ‘Garden of Eden’. Game drive in the crater viewing the rare black rhinos and lots of lions and other animals. The crater also has a shallow soda lake, which supports thousands of pink flamingos. A magical site for the thirsty eye! In the evening ascend to the rim. Dinner and overnight; Simba campsite – wilderness camping.

Day 7: Bulati Maasai Village – Arusha. After breakfast, drive to Naiyobi Maasai village near Olmoth crater where you’ll drop off from the jeep. Our Maasai guide will meet you here to go on a beautiful hike across the magnificent Embulbul depression. Along the way you’ll visit a Maasai village and also take some time to learn their way of life. You will see some wildlife along the trail mostly zebra and antelopes grazing in between the Maasai cattle. (No lions though) later on drive back to Arusha. Dinner and overnight; Hotel of your choice – not included in the price.

Safari:

Camping – we use public camping sites; some of these are set in the wilderness and are supported with basic necessities only. During this Safari we use light tents for camping and we provide all other camping gears like mattresses, chairs, tables etc. kindly bring your own sleeping bags.

One cook will be on the trek with you. He takes care of all camp chores. You’re free to give a helping hand. He will provide 3 delicious meals per day – vegetarian or not. Most lunches are picnic as you’ll be on the trail.

Transport while on Safari – We’ll provide 1 special Safari Jeep – Land Rover 110 Tdi 4WD or Landcruizer 4WD. The vehicle is fitted with a pop - up roof for game viewing and photographing. The drive is also the guide by qualifications – he is knowledgeable in flora and fauna.

Suggested parking list: Non-synthetic comfortable fitting clothes (neutral colors and wrinkle free preferred); 2-3 long sleeves shirts and 2 short sleeves shirts, shorts and long trousers, 1safari vest with several pockets, 1 safari hat - packable (wide rimmed for sun protection), jersey or safari jacket for evenings, several pairs of socks, warm sleeping bags. Wind breaker jacket.

Others: Safari binoculars, Lightweight safari shoes or trainers, sandals, sunglasses, sun creams, insect repellent creams, a lightweight first aid kit, day-pack for your cameras, rucksack for your safari gears and clothes.

Airfare is not included in the tour price.

Price: Per person per day 200 USD for the group of 2-3 persons.
