Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arusha – Lake Manyara Park
Depart early in the morning for Lake Manyara Park for game drive till sunset. Lunch is picnic in the park. Lake Manyara is famous for tree climbing lions and big herds of buffaloes. Dinner and overnight. Kiboko campsite - Wilderness Camping.
Day 2: Manyara – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast drive to Serengeti past the famous Ngorongoro Crater. Game drive en route as you enters Serengeti. Sunset games drive at Seronera river valley area. Serengeti is famous for the big cats and this is the season for the Great Wildebeest migration. Dinner and overnight. Seronera campsite – Wilderness camping.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater
Sunrise game drives start at 6:30am till 9:00am. After breakfast depart for the Ngorongoro Crater with game drive en-route. Short stop at Olduvai Gorge – A famous Historical site. Dinner and overnight. Simba campsite – Wilderness camping - on the Western rim of the crater.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater
Early breakfast, descend into the crater by 7:00am for game drive till lunch time. Game drive to discover the hidden secrets of the ‘Garden of Eden’. A day for the black Rhinoceros. Evening ascend to the rim. Dinner and overnight. Simba campsite – Wilderness camping - on the Western rim of the crater.
Day 5: Ngorongoro – Bulati Maasai Village
Drive to Naiyobi Maasai village near Olmoth Crater where you’ll drop off from the jeep. Our Maasai guide will meet you to go on a beautiful hike across the magnificent Embulbul depression. Along the way you’ll visit a Maasai village and also take some time to learn their way of life. The Maasai are World famous for their rich cultural heritage. You will see some wildlife along the trail (No lions though). The hike is non strenuous and takes about 7 hours to cross the depression. Evening free at the camp or go dancing with the Maasai worriers. Dinner and overnight. Bulati Campsite – Wilderness camping
Day 6: Bulati Maasai Village – Empakaai Crater - Arusha
Hike to the rim of Empakaai Crater and down to the Crater floor. The Empakaai Crater is one of the most beautiful places on the Crater Highlands. Much of the crater floor is covered by a jewel like lake. Walk along the lake shore teeming with thousands of pink flamingos. The eerie lake, the occasional hyena chasing flamingos, the wild sounds. Afternoon climb back to the rim and drive back to Arusha. Dinner and overnight; hotel of your choice not included in the tariff We recommend. Kili-Meru private Guest or Arusha resort Center.
