The natural beauty and the colorful ethnic Chinese cultures and customs attract people from all over the world. You will enjoy the picturesque mountains, peaceful green fields, farms and villages while cruising Li river. You will have a unique possibility to visit one-thousand-year-old town Yangshuo, the Elephant Trunk Hill, Fubo Hill, and Reed Flute Cave.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Guiling Arrival. Transfer via: flight-on our arrangement upon arriving at Guiling. Be met and transferred to your hotel with private vehicle and tour guide.
Day 2: Guiling - Longsheng. One Day Longsheng tour for Ethnic Tribes Culture expedition. Depart from the hotel in the morning and drive to Longji area. Includes: (B, L)
Longsheng is located in the mountainous region on the northeastern part of Guiling. The natural beauty and the colorful ethnic Chinese cultures and customs attract people from all over the world. After 2.5 hours drive (115KM beautiful mountain road) you will get to the Longji area, Heping Township of Longsheng County.
Visit Zhuang and Yao Minority tribes villages and some families if you like. Those ethnic girls dressed in their own colors may have a demonstration on hair combing or singing and dancing upon guests' request and gratuity. Clients will enjoy the beautiful terrace rice fields after getting to the summit of Longji (Dragon's backbone). The terrace rice fields were first built in the Yuan Dynasty (about 800 years ago) and completed in the Qing dynasty as the crystallization of the wisdom and labor of the Zhuang people.
The terraced fields are built along the slope winding from the riverside up to the mountaintop, with the highest place of an elevation of 885m and the lowest 380m. The coiling line spirals up from the mountain foot to the top, making the mountain looks like huge snail seen afar. Enjoy the hiking tours around Pingan village for the wonderful views.
Day 3: Guiling - Yangshuo. Full day Li River Cruise to Yangshuo with lunch aboard. Includes: (B, L)
Li River Cruise: Depart from your hotel in the morning. Be transferred to the Zhujiang Pier (about 1 hour drive) for a 4.5 hours wonderful cruise. You will enjoy the picturesque mountains, peaceful green fields, farms and villages with water buffaloes, cows wondering around on both sides of the river bank. Disembark at the one-thousand-year-old town Yangshuo in the afternoon. Free at leisure to explore the old town.
Day 4: Guiling. Half day tours to the Elephant Trunk Hill, Fubo Hill, and Reed Flute Cave with lunch. Includes: (B, L)
Elephant Trunk Hill: located at the conjunction of the Li River and the Peach Blossom River, the whole hill looks very much like a giant elephant with a long trunk, it is the symbol of Guiling city.
Fubo Hill: you can see lots of rock stone carvings and Buddha statues since Tang Dynasty. Have a wonderful bird's-eye view of Guiling city if you climb to the summit.
Reed Flute Cave: known as "the Palace of Natural Arts" where you can see beautiful stalactites and stalagmites, learn how they are formed. Transfer to airport for departure flight.
