Piazza Michelangelo offers one of the most astounding views of Florence and its surrounding hills. One of the city's oldest churches, San Miniato, houses very interesting 13th century mosaics. We will then proceed to the Pitti Palace which houses several museums featuring treasures of the Medici family, including the famous Galleria Palatina featuring many floor to ceiling paintings by Titian, Raphael, Caravaggio, Rubens and Van Dyck.
