Destined to the more experienced, this 7 day program will take you to know the secrets and enjoy the awesome sand dune and hill rides of the Great Ica desert. Ever experimented the feeling of navigating through hundreds of virgin desert square miles? Ever been the first to ride over a hill? well, this trip will give you the chance. A compass and sleeping bag are required personal items.
Start at the sea lions’ and flamingos’ habitat in the Paracas National Reserve. Ride along the virgin beaches, sand dunes and moonlike terrain of the Great Ica Desert. Cross the coastal Pacific Desert through its most reserved and thrilling routes. Camp in the Boca del Rio beach for one night. Ride to Nazca and fly over the famous Nazca Lines. Closely watch entire families of sea lions in their natural habitat and observe the majestic Condor at the unmatched and magic beach of Punta San Fernando. Visit 3.5 million year old whale fossils at the local museum of Sacaco. Climb the giant sand dunes of the Huacachina oasis located in the middle of the Great Ica Desert. Ride through a former desert race route from Inca to Paracas.

Day 1 - Reception
Arrival to the Jorge Chavez International Airport in Lima.
Greeting by our staff and transfer to the hotel. Meeting with the rest of the tour participants. First briefing to cover the general aspects of the tour. Welcome dinner. Hotel accommodation. Includes: (B) (D)
Day 2 - Lima - Paracas (250 km., transfer)
Breakfast at hotel. The group will be transferred on board of a private bus to Paracas. We will travel south along the Pan-American Highway for three and a half-hours until arrival to our hotel located in the bay of the Paracas National Reserve. Explanation of the operation and start of the motorcycles. We will have a short ride in the Paracas peninsula to get familiarized with the operation of the motorcycles. Hotel accommodation. Day 3 - Paracas - Boca del Rio (221 km.)
After dressing up and ready to go on the motorcycles, we will head south along the coast of the Paracas National Reserve following the solitary beaches of the Pacific Ocean for 90 km. After a short stop for a box lunch, we will change course and head inland for 70 km. until reaching the route that will take us back to the Pacific again. Then for another 20 km. we will ride along the shore and then go inland again for 50 more km. After having crossed the dunes and hills of these reserved and solitary routes of this part of the Great Ica Desert, we will set camp in the Boca del Rio beach. Box lunch dinner. Overnight in tents at the beach campsite.
Optional complementary program:
After breakfast at the hotel, two-hour marine excursion to the Ballestas Islands. The islands are located 20 km. from the coast and they are part of the Paracas National Reserve. On the way to the islands, we will observe the “Candelabro”, an enormous drawing in one of the biggest dunes of the reserve that was probably made by the ancient Incas, having a close relation to the famous Nazca Lines. Once at the Ballestas Islands we will observe the fauna at their natural habitat, including sea lions, Humboldt penguins and different bird species. Includes: (B) (L) (D)
Day 4 - Boca del Rio - Nazca (105 KM.)
After having breakfast and dismounting our campsite, we will continue along the Pacific shore for 12 km. until reaching the small fishermen’s village of Puerto Caballas. After a short picture-taking stop, we will change course and head inland towards the town of Nazca, crossing the desert once again and passing by various villages and old haciendas. In this part of the route, we will be able to observe closely the lifestyle of the villagers of this region. After 93 km. we will reach our hotel in the town of Nazca. Tonight’s accommodation will be in an old hacienda specially converted to a hotel. Includes: (B) (D)
Day 5 - Nazca - Punta San Fernando - Nazca (130 KM.)
The morning will be spent at your own leisure. We suggest to rest and enjoy the strong sun and warm climate of Nazca at the hotel swimming pool. For those participants that wish a programmed we suggest to fly over the Nazca Lines and/or visit the local museum.
After lunch we will ride south towards the solitary and untouched beach of Punta San Fernando, one of the most beautiful and charming places of the Pacific coast. Here it is possible to observe in their natural habitat, entire families of sea lions, still mild to humans. With some luck, the group will also be able to appreciate the Condor, the biggest flying bird on earth. After visiting Punta San Fernando we will return to our hotel in Nazca.
Optional complementary program:
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the local airport to fly over the famous Nazca Lines and Geogliphs. It is only possible to admire these enigmatic pre-Inca figures from the air. To date, the purpose for which these animal, humanoid and geometric drawings were made, is still unknown.
From Sacaco, we will continue our trip back to Nazca on the Pan-America for 91 km. until reaching our hotel. Hotel accommodation. Includes: (B) (D)
Day 6 - Nazca - Huacachina - Paracas (224 km.)
After breakfast at the hotel, we will head north on the Pan-American for 144 km. until reaching the oasis and lagoon of Huacachina. This unique oasis, located between 300-ft. tall sand dunes and tropical palm trees, is a well-known tourist attraction in Ica. After having lunch at the border of the Huacachina lagoon, we will head straight to the desert along these giant dunes on our way to Paracas. On our last off-road ride in the desert we will ride over dunes, hills, creeks and plains for about 80 km. Until reaching our hotel in Paracas.

Day 7 - Paracas - Lima (250 km., transfer)
This morning will be spent at your leisure at the accommodations of the charming Paracas hotel. Relaxing at the swimming pool and taking a sun bathe will probably be everyone’s choice. Depending on the departure time of your return flight back home, we will depart for the three and a half-hour trip to the international airport in Lima, or stay at the hotel for lunch.
After lunch, transfer back to Lima on our private van along the Pan-American Highway, and to the international airport to take your flight connection back home. End of our services. Includes: (B) (D)
