This tour will offer the opportunity to excel beyond your current strength and endurance levels to what may well be the greatest fitness level of your life. Embark on what will be a remarkable journey of adventure and celebrate the sense of freedom found only on a bicycle tour!
We will commemorate the start of our journey with a wheel dipping ceremony in the Pacific Ocean in California. Seven weeks and 3,420 miles later, we will partake in a celebratory dipping in the Atlantic Ocean in Massachusetts making our journey a complete coast to coast event!
Our route takes us over the Continental Divide in New Mexico, along Historic Route 66, and to the Dalton Brother’s Hideout near Dodge City, Kansas. We ride across the Lewis and Clark Trail and the Mighty Mississippi into Illinois and past the Old North Church in Historic Concord, Massachusetts. In the Midwest we will participate in presentations by a Texas feed lot owner and the grand nephew of the first person to ride cross country on a high wheel bicycle.
Our arrival into Boston on bicycles will make you part of a very elite group of cyclists as you will have accomplished something most people believe is impossible - crossing the United States of America by bicycle!
