We begin the trip at Quesnel Lake, a 3 hour drive from Winnipeg. This "extended weekend" trip is ideal for those who want to experience the peace and beauty of a Canadian Shield river but have limited time. Quiet, picturesque stretches of water snake through boreal and deciduous forests teeming with songbirds. The swift water sections will be enjoyed by experienced canoeists, while those with limited canoeing experience can develop their skills with the assistance of our experienced guides.

Day 1: Drive from Winnipeg to "Caribou Landing" and camp for the night. Including: (D).
