Vist Kuching, Bako, the Skrang River, the infamous Mulu Caves in Sarawak, Kota Kinbalu in Sabah. You will go on a three day trip across the Crocker Range, visiting Mt Kinabalu, the Rafflesia Centre and also experience a trip on Borneo's last train. Spend a couple of days visiting the area around Sandakan - including the Sepilok Orang-utan Sanctuary, Sukau on the Kinabatangan River where you will find the strange looking Proboscis monkeys.
Your Itinerary
Day 1:
Arrive in Kuching and transfer to hotel
Day 2:
Morning tour of Kuching City. Afternoon at leisure

Full day trip up the Skrang River to visit the Nanga Murat Longhouse where you will be able to see the local Ibans going about their daily chores

Day trip to Bako National Park - Sarawak's oldest National Park. Evening transfer to Miri.

Transfer to Mulu Caves. Afternoon tour of Lang Cave and the huge Deer Cave.

Morning tour of the Wind and Clearwater Caves. Afternoon at your leisure.

Day 7:
Morning transfer to Kota Kinabalu. Afternoon tour of the city.

Day 8:
Begin your three day tour over the Crocker Range. Visit Kinabalu Park at the base of Mt Kinabalu - the highest mountain in South-East Asia

Day 9:
Visit Poring Hot Springs. Tavel overland to Tambunan to visit the Rafflesia Centre where you may be lucky enough to see the world's largest flower in bloom. Overnight in Tenom.

Day 10:
Visit the Orchid Centre and Living Crop Museum at Lagud Sebrang. After lunch travel on Borneo's only remaining train along the Padas River to Beaufort, and then return overland to Kota Kinbalu

Day 11:
Fly to Sandakan and visit the Sepilok Orang-utan Rehabilitation Centre in time for the morning feed, then travel overland to Sukau Rainforest Lodge on the Kinabatangan River. In the late afternoon, you will be taken on a jungle boat trip to see the Proboscis monkeys preparing themselves for the night. Return to the lodge for dinner, followed by a slide presentation.

Day 12:
Return to Sandakan, stopping off at Gomantong Caves along the way. Lunch at Sandakan, followed by a tour of the city. Overnight in Sandakan.
Day 13:
Morning at leisure. Afternoon transfer to airport for your flight to your next destination
