The complex consits of 4 permanently flowing mouths, Englishman, Frenchman, Blue Crane and Dutchman, and a number of smaller less permanent mouths. that strech over a with of 2 km and a length of about 3 km. There is a small Trio village and a Guyanese logging camp. Other than that the area is not inhabited.

Day 4:
Cawfall to Wonotobo: From Cawfall, Alaman Fadon or Bigi Boktu depending on the location reached an early departure for the journey to the Wonotobo. The river is quite clear to travel at some places and at others one has to be very aware of treacherous rocks. At some places, especially the area before Powisi Island the river is a true labyrinth of islands and rapids. Much of the progress depends on the waterlevel. Usually approaching Wonotobo will be heralded by foam floating on the water. When approaching the rapids one can almost feel their presence even though the rapids are well concealed.
