- Day 1:
Hike down the South Kaibab Trail 7 miles to Bright Angel Campground near historic Phantom Ranch and the Colorado River. (L) (D)

- Day 2:
Day hike (without backpacks)up the North Kaibab Trail and enjoy cascading waterfalls along Bright Angel and Phantom Creeks. (B) (L) (D)

- Day 3:
Hike 4.5 miles along the Colorado River and up to Indian Gardens Campground on the Bright Angel Trail. Have dinner at scenic Plateau Point, weather permitting. (B) (L) (D)

- Day 4:
Hike up the Bright Angel Trail to the South Rim. (B) (L)
