Begin any Monday or Wednesday from Toronto, Ontario traveling westward on VIA’s Canadian, in a bedroom, to Vancouver, B.C. The tour includes a night’s stay at two classic railroad hotels in both Toronto and Vancouver, a 2 night stay in Jasper AB, to explore from the bottom, the Maligne Canyon and to the top of Whistler’s Mountain and 3 days/nights on the train.
Your Itinerary
Day 1: Monday/ Wednesdays
Independent arrival into Toronto, Ontario giving you a chance to explore the city and receive your detailed itinerary.
Day 2: Tuesday/ Thursdays
Depart Toronto on VIA’s westbound train The Canadian in your reserved room and enjoy lunch & dinner (included) on the train. Travel through the scenic Muskoka region and into the scenic Canadian Shield. Enjoy the trains lounge, activity and dome cars before heading to your private room to find the bed prepared for the evening to spend the night on the train. Included: (B), (L), (D).
Day 3: Wednesday/ Fridays
Today you will continue to travel west in the province of Ontario and into the province of Manitoba. Breakfast, lunch and dinner (included) will be enjoyed on the train, again spending the night in your room. Included: (B), (L), (D).
Day 4: Thursday/ Saturday
Awake to the ranch country in the provinces of Saskatchewan and Alberta. Enjoy breakfast and lunch on the train (included) and travel through the Canadian Rockies by daylight to arrive in Jasper, AB, to depart the train, and introduce yourself to this mountain town and overnight. Included: (B), (L).
Day 5: Friday/ Sunday
You have the opportunity to experience the Rockies from the bottom, Maligne Canyon, to the top, Whistler Mtn with our suggested tour providers that our clients have enjoyed in the past and again overnight here.
Day 6: Saturday/ Monday
The following day, after shopping the stores and boutiques along Connaught Avenue you will board the westbound Canadian to Vancouver and view the Rockies and enjoy dinner in the diner and overnight on the train. Included: (D).
Day 7: Sunday/ Tuesday
Awake to have breakfast (included) before arriving Vancouver, to visit this city, and stay downtown at a classic railroad hotel. Included: (B).
Day 8: Monday/ Wednesday
Awake refreshed to depart for home from the Vancouver International Airport or reserve another day to view the sites of this great city.
