DARHAD VALLEY-This is the Mongolia's most impressive and remote scenery, in the far Northwestern remote village of Renchinlkhumbe of Darhad valley-this is the Land of the Tsaatan people. Although often rains here in the summer, this only adds to the lushness of the scenery, which consists of crystal-clear lakes and rivers, Taiga Siberian forest of larch and pine, and rich, green meadows.
CATCH THE BIG ONES!: The average sized Taimen are around 30-40 inches long (80-100 cm). There will be many opportunities at trophy Taimen over 40 inches (100 cm). Taimen are known to the Mongolians as the "River Wolf". They are an exceptionally ferocious predator which feed on birds, prairie dogs, mice, and fish.
Others species are the Lenok- the Mongolian equivalent of a trout, generally around 15 to 20 inches (2 to 3 lb) they can grow to over 30 inches and the Grayling are plentiful in Mongolia's rivers.
Taimen conservation - Catch and Release is exercised!.
A typical fishing day begins with early morning breakfast and return to our Fishing Camp for dinner and overnights. Cuisine at the camp is a variety of Occidental and Mongolian dishes. Each meal is complemented with homemade soup, a variety of salads, fresh-baked bread, a modest dessert, coffee and tea.
Day 1: ULAANBAATAR (UB)
Upon your arrival in UB city,you are welcomed and transferred to the hotel. Free time. In the evening, attend the Evening Mongolian traditional folk songs and dance concert. Have welcome dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2: FLIGHT TO MORON
Breakfast. Drive to the airport. Early flight to Moron, the provincial capital of Hovsgol Province. Meet our transport, the guides, and depart to the fishing locations. Full board.
Day 3: DARHAD VALLEY
After breakfast, continuous drive to the rivers of Far Northern of Mongolia-*this is a long hard drive to the Northern rivers (~700kms). Arrive and try some fishing in the late night. Full board
Days 4-9: FISHING DAYS
6 full fishing days in the best rivers (Shishid-Tengis or Sharga rivers) of the Far Northern of Mongolia. Full board.
Day 10: MORON
A long hard drive back to Moron. Transfer to the local hotel. Full board.
Day 11: FLIGHT BACK TO UB
Transfer to Moron local airport. Flight back to Ulaanbaatar. Arrive, meet and transfer to the hotel. Free time at hotel. Farewell dinner. Overnight at hotel. Full board.
Day 12: DEPARTURE
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport for departure Mongolia. End of our services.

FISHING SEASON:1. The Spring Season: The Mongolia Fishing Season starts on June 15th (*in this period the Taimen & Trout begin feeding aggressively). Also is possible to start to fish on May 15th, but is too cold!).
2. The Fall Season (* this is Autumn, is the best season to fish in Mongolia): from very late August, September, October and the first two weeks of October. We are a fully licensed Mongolian Tour Operator, Spinning & Fly-fishing Outfitter, since 1997.
