Curious about the country and the people? Horseback riding tour along the Tuul river sacred valley to visit the Nomadic families. We will drive to South Gobi desert to explore Gobi Gurvan Shaikhan National Park, the Flaming Cliffs, the Gobi Dinosaur Cemetery and largest Sands dunes. Your Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Ulaanbaatar (UB) from your country destination. On arrival, you are welcomed by our representative and are transferred to your hotel in the heart of the city! Today is spent on a guided city tour of Ulaanbataar, highlights include Sukhbataar Main Square, the New Chinggis Khan's monument, the National History Museum where you will see artifacts from Mongolia from the Stone Age to the present, and displays of the development of Mongolian arts and culture. Evening National Performers (concert which includes the Tsam dance, traditional Mongolian singers, dancers, Tuvan throat singing and contortionists. Have welcome dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at 4 stars hotel. Included: (D).

Day 2: After breakfast in the hotel, visit the Gandan Lamasery, the largest Monastery in Mongolia (80 foot tall statue of Buddha, practicing Tibetan Buddhist Lamas). Some shopping at the State Departament Store. Lunch in local restaurant "El Latino". After, drive to "Terelj" National Park - This valley is about 20km long at 1600m. This area is the magnificent of alpine forest, rocks formation, and nomadic families. Visits the Tortoise rock, and hiking to the small Buddhist monastery on the top of the mountain. After, depart drive to the “Sacred Tuul river Nomad's Valley” for dinner and overnight. This is a beautiful valley of streams. There are national gers in beautiful natural locations, so it's easy to meet with locals and see their daily lives, interact with them, explore, take water adventures, go trekking, swimming in the Tuul River. In route, we will stop, to visit the Higgest New Statue of "Chinggis" Khan (very close to our "Chinggis" Tourist Base Camp, 4km). Arrive. Welcome dinner with traditional Mongolian meal (khorkhog), which is mutton cooked with hot rock and with vegetables, water, potatoes, and onion. Overnight at our comfortable "Chinggis" Tourist Camp. This Tourist Base Camp provides electricity, hot water, showers, western style toilets and restaurant. Included: (B), (L), (D).

Day 3: Day at leisure on horseback riding tour to enjoy this amazing scenery of wide-open steppe with rolling hills in the background and river. We recommend you also to take a walk around the Tuul River or into the foothills to witness this amazing landscapes and wild life. Horseback riding tour along the Tuul River, so it's easy to visit Nomads along the way and enjoy Nomad hospitality. See their daily lives, interact with them to show you theirs animal training, feeding, milking, food preparation, etc, take water adventures, go trekking, swimming or rafting in the Tuul river. Overnight at the comfortable "Chinggis" tourist base camp. Included: (B), (L), (D).

Day 4: Drive back to Ulaanbaatar. Free time for some shopping. Overnight at 4 stars hotel. Included: (D), (L).

Day 5: Fly to South Gobi desert. An opportunity to photograph the stunning landscape. Visits "Yol Valley Protected Area in Gobi Gurvan Shaikhan National Park" for trekking and an opportunity to photograph the stunning landscape, the Gobi Glacier and the wildlife of the area. Picnic lunch in the National Park, and leisure hiking. In the afternoon, return drive for dinner and overnight at the tourist camp. Included: (B), (L), (D).

Day 6: After breakfast, drive to Hongoryn Els - the largest sand dunes in Gobi desert and all Asia. An opportunity to photograph the stunning landscape, and optional camel riding. Overnight in traditional ger dwellings at the Tourist camp. Included: (B), (L), (D).

Day 7: In the morning, visit the largest sand dunes Hongoryn Els. An opportunity to photograph the stunning landscape, and optional camel riding. Free time for photo opportunities. In the afternoon, drive to the legendary "Flaming Cliffs"; named for its glowing orange rock that is rich with dinosaur fossils in Bayanzad (dinosaur excavation site) to explore the Gobi Dinosaur Cemetery and to follow the historic trail of paleontologist/ explorer Dr. Roy Chapman Andrews. Overnight in traditional ger dwellings at the Tourist camp. Included: (B), (L), (D).

Day 8: Early breakfast. Drive back to the first Gobi tourist camp. Fly to Ulaanbaatar. Overnight at 4stars hotel. Included: (B), (L).

Day 9: Breakfast at hotel. Drive directly through the grassland toward "Karakorum" - was founded in 1220 at the crossroads of the Silk Road. It was the capital of the Mongol Empire until Kublai Khan moved it to Beijing. Visitors, such as Marco Polo, described its ornate building, including a 2500 sq. meters Palace of Worldly Peace. In 1792 the Monastery still had 62 temples and 10,000 lamas. But in 1930 it became a victim of the Stalin's purges. All but three of the Temples were destroyed and most of the monks were either killed or sent to Siberia. Today the restoration of the Monastery is the government's top priority. Erdene Zuu retains much of its ancient glory and is well worth visiting. Arrive and transfer to the tourist base ger camp. Free time for photo opportunities. Dinner and overnight in tourist base camp. Included: (B), (L), (D).

Day 10: This morning, we visit "Erdene Zuu". The monastery grounds and several chapels depict excellent examples of Buddhist iconography dating from the sixteenth century. In the afternoon, drive to “Hustain Nuruu” National Reserve to see the Przewalski wild horses (Takhi horses), recently re-introduced back into Mongolia. Visit the park museum to learn about the history of the last pure wild horses in the world and the history of the area. Overnight in tourist base camp. Included: (B), (L), (D).

Day 11: Drive back to Ulaanbaatar. Transfer to the hotel. Today is spent on a guided city tour of Ulaanbataar, highlights include Bogd Khan Winter Palace, and the war memorial Zaisan Hill. Lunch in local restaurant. After, visit the Natural Museum, where you will see two complete dinosaur skeletons, which were found in the Gobi - the giant flesh-eating Tarbosaurus, 15m tall and four to five tons in weight, and the little duck-billed plant-eating Saurolophus, and displays of Mongolia's geography, flora and fauna. Shop for souvenirs, original pure cashmere gifts and garments. Overnight at hotel. Included: (B), (L).

Day 12: Transfer to the airport for departure Mongolia or Post tour to Khovsgol Lake (Mongolia). Included: (B).
