Your Itinerary

Day 1: Assistance in the airport of Canaima, transfer at the camp, lunch, and your expedition begins with a short walk on the shores of the lagoon of Canaima arriving at the port of Ucaima, From here we start the navigation in Canoe sailing up trough the Carrao river, here we arrive at the Sapo Falls and the Sapito Falls, we continue until arriving at the strong currents and falls of Mayupa, here we will walk about 30 minutes the savanna of Mayupa, because it is his forbidden to cross the this fast water fall onboard the canoe's, we have to walk the last bid, this beautiful savanna was the first airport of Canaima 5 decades ago, in this moment the airport is now in the town of Canaima. Continuing sailing one the Carrao river we will visit the Pound of Happiness and Orchid Island where we will arrive and have dinner, accommodation is in hammocks. Included: (B), (L), (D).

Day 2: After the breakfast, we continue navigating on board the typical Curiara Canoe's navigating about 30 minutes until arriving to the entrance of the Churun River that only is navigable in the rain seasons. Sailing for approximately 3 hours until we arrive at Mouse Island (Isla Raton), where we will have a panoramic view of the Angel Falls, a walk of 45 minutes until we arrive to the Mirador *Laime, The place to observe 100% the Angel Falls, we will continue to the base of the Angel Falls where nature has formed a lagoon of water coming derived from the above. We return to Isla Raton, we eat a nice indigenous style lunch, Chicken on the stick, a on the island, return to the camp, dinner and a good nights sleep in hammocks. Included: (B), (L), (D).

Day 3: We have breakfast and then we navigate down trough the Churun River until connecting with the Carrao River, on the way we pass the rapids of La Estrechadura until we arrive to the Camp of Carrao, we visit the the old DC3, resting here for the last 30 years right in front of the Amarguay Tepuy, here we have our lunch, after we continue until reaching Iwana Meru, where we will have dinner and a rest in our hammocks. Included: (B), (L), (D).

Day 4: After breakfast we join expedition to the top of the Amarguay Tepuy a walk of approximately 8 hours discovering virgin places and floras, rivers, and an immense carpet of dry leaves, lunch, return to the camp Iwana Meru, we have dinner and we rest in our hammocks. Included: (B), (L), (D).

Day 5: We have breakfast followed by a visit to the rapids of the River Akanan, and the river Kuana. Here we visit the indigenous community of Kuana that maintain there original customs of their ancestors, we eat lunch and we continue the sailing trough the rivers Kuana, Akanan, and Aicha, arriving to the port of Kamarata, we will accommodate at the Indigenous Mission of Kamarata, dinner and we sleep in real beds. Included: (B), (L), (D).

Day 6: After the breakfast we will walk to the caņon of Kavac Aprox. 2 hours), we will discover The Caves of Kavac, have lunch and explore other interesting places here in this indiums community, we return to the Indigenous Mission of Kamarata where we will have dinner and a good nights sleep in hammocks. Included: (B), (L), (D).

Day 7: After the breakfast, we return to Canaima, we have lunch on the way and will be arriving in the evening we'll have dinner in the indian comunity "La Maloka" sleep in hammocks in Canaima Town. All our expeditions include foods, soft drinks, fruits, bilingual guides and personalized attention.

The Canoe's used are the typical curiara's with outboard motors, they have reserve engines and managed by experienced indigenous personnel. Included: (B), (L), (D).

Day 8: After the breakfast enjoy the magic view of the Lagoon of Canaima until you check-in on the return flight from Canaima to Ciudad Bolivar departing by noon. Included: (B).

The flights depart from Ciudad Bolivar everyday in the morning departure time 08:00am arriving an hour after. The flights back depart at 12:00pm.
