Trek to Shavlinsky lakes which have always been a Mecca for Russian trekkers. Shavlo Lake was an achievement as meaningful as Lenin Peak or Klyuchevskoi volcano climbs. One day of easy rafting is added as a finishing touch.

Day 1: Flight to Barnaul. Bus transfer to the Areda tourist base. Included: (B)
Day 2: Transfer to Majoi tourist base. Included: (B)
Day 3: Local day outing. Base. Included: (B)
Day 4: Walk to Karakabak valley. Camp. Included: (B), (L), (D)
Day 5: Day outing to Maashei Lake, the Bolshoi Maashei glacier. Return to camp. Included: (B), (L), (D)
Day 6: Crossing Oroi pass (2230m), descent to the Shabaga River. Camp. Included: (B), (L), (D)
Day 7: Walk up to Shavlo Lake. Camp. Included: (B), (L), (D)
Day 8: Day outing to Verkhne Shavlo Lake. Return to camp. Included: (B), (L), (D)
Day 9: Day outing to the foot of the Nizhneshavlinsky pass. Return to camp. Included: (B), (L), (D)
Day 10: Rest day. Camp. Included: (B), (L), (D)
Day 11: Return to the Shabaga river. Camp. Included: (B), (L), (D)
Day 12: Walk to the confluence of the Chuya and Maashei rivers. Camp. Included: (B), (L), (D)
