Gun-Galuut Nature Reserve is truly the marvellous combination of high mountains, colourful flowers, pretty lakes, rivers and wetland waters with full of waterbirds including some rare and endangered species like the Argali wild sheep, Siberian White Cranes, Hooded Cranes, White-Naped Cranes, Whooper Swans etc. Argali Wild Mountain Sheep is rare, endangered species in the world. You can photograph herds of Argali from the closest distance in Baits & Berkh mountains.
Hustai National Park is the place where the wild Takhi- Przewalski horses have lived peacefully since 1993 when they were reintroduced to their native land Mongolia. Here we are able to see and photograph these beautiful wild horses at pasture and Red Deer, Wolf, Asian Marmot, various species of waterfawls and prey birds etc, as well.
The city of Karakorum: In 1220 the great Chinghis Khaan declared it as the capital city of his vast Empire. Today there are many interesting sites left to visit; the legendary turtle rock sculptures, Buddhist stupas and the ruins of this once great city to name a few. Erdenezuu is the first Buddhist monastery in the Mongolian Empire, established in 1586. Today Erdenezuu monastery still shows its glory with collections of many priceless religious objects and incredibly beautiful Mongolian arts. It has a massive square wall, 420 meters in length each side, a total of 108 Stupas and 17 temples.

Tour Itinerary:
Day 1 - Arrival in Ulaanbaatar, meet your tour guide & transfer to hotel, rest. Visit the Museum of Natural History, and the Museum of National History & the Sukhbaatar Square. Dinner, hotel overnight;
Day 2 - Pack the vehicles & depart to amazing Gun-Galuut Nature Reserve. Enjoy the wilderness and the nature beauty. Drive/hike to Mt.Baits to view endangered Argali wild sheep, other wildlife including fox, gazelles and if lucky Grey Wolf. Ger camp overnight;
Day 3-4 - Visit Hustai National Park, view the wonderful wild horses the Takhi. Then drive through amazing scenery of wide-open steppe with rolling hills in the background to Khogno Khan Mountain. This mountain is at an elevation of 1967 m and is perfect for short walks around the surrounding area. Overnight in a comfortable Ger tourist camp;
Day 5 - Karakorum - Visit legendary monastery Erdene Zuu, the first Buddhist monastery in Central Mongolia founded in 1586, the ruins of Tumen Amgalant palace, The Phallic stone, the Turkic Tombs in the Orkhon River Valley from the 8th century. Meals and overnight at tourist ger camp;
Day 6-7 - Drive to the south to Ongi monastery ruins. Ongi Monastery was the biggest settlement in the southern Mongolia before 1937. Visit the Bayanzag - the Flaming Cliffs, the most famous dinosaur site on earth. Explore for dinosaur remains, walk in the saxaul forest. You can even find real dinosaur bones and eggs yourself! Meals and overnight at tourist ger camps;
Day 8-10 - Early rising to witness the inspiring Gobi sun rise. Visit Khongoriin Els, the largest sand dunes of Mongolia. Optional climbing to the Singing dunes, hiking around etc. 1 day camel riding at the sand dunes. Visit the Yoliin Am Gorse in the Gobi Gurvan Saikhan National Park. Meals & overnight at tourist ger camp;
Day 11-13 - Drive through the vast Gobi steppes toward Ulaanbaatar. Visit Tsagaan Suvarga, a stunning natural site. Stop in Baga Gazriin Chuluu mountains, enjoy the wilderness and the nature beauty. Meals & overnight in tourist ger camps. We arrive in Ulaanbaatar in the evening of Day 13, transfer to hotel, dinner;
Day 14 - We visit the Gandan Monastery, Palace Museum of Bogd Khaan, Buddha International Park & the Zaisan memorial. Traditional folk concert in the evening. Dinner at a Mongolian restaurant for the finest Mongolian food. Hotel overnight;
Day 15 - Transfer to the airport after breakfast.
