Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Wednesday, February 28. Arrival at the Kotoka International Airport, meet up by insight Travel and transfer to hotel.

Day 2: Thursday, March 1. After breakfast, enjoy a morning tour of Accra, Ghana's capital city and commercial heart. Discover the attractions of this bustling city, including the Independence Square- The venue of many national celebrations, dominated by the Independence Arch & the memorial to the Unknown Soldier. Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum - the first president of Ghana, Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, graduated from Lincoln University, USA and returned to Ghana to make it the first African country to gain independence. On 1st July,1960 Ghana became a republic with Kwame Nkrumah as its first President. The park houses a museum about the life and works of Kwame Nkrumah. Arts Center - just next door to the Nkrumah mausoleum. This center has a on offer artifacts from all parts of Ghana. Cultural performances are a common activity here. National Museum - In the same vicinity is the national museum. It is worth visiting to trace the history of the people of Ghana. Return and overnight Accra.

Day 3: Friday March 2. After breakfast enjoy Makola Market - The biggest market in Accra is the Makola market located on Kojo Thompson! road. After lunch heard for the Central region of Ghana. Overnight Cape Coast.

Day 4: Saturday March 3. In Cape Coast/Elmina are the Cape Coast/Elmina Castles, millions of captured slaves passed through the doors of no return into slavery in the west Indies, America and central America. Visit both castles today. Enjoy both townships as well. overnight Hans Cottage

Day 5: Sunday March 4. After breakfast, make an early morning trip to Kakum National Park; enjoy walking on the only canopy walkway in Africa, actually one of the only 3 in the world. A ground trail too is very insightful. After Kakum Park heard back to Accra to overnight there.

Day 6: Monday March 5. After breakfast heard towards the Akosombo dam, until recently the largest man made dam in the world. Make a stop over at the over a century old Aburi botanical gardens before coming back to overnight in Accra. Attend a golden Jubilee anniversary activity.

Day 7: Tuesday March 6. After breakfast we take you to the independence day anniversary parade. Share with Ghana this golden anniversary activities.

Day 8: Wednesday March 7- After breakfast spend the rest of the morning at the Ghana Trade Fair center. Experience Ghana's cultural, industral, technological, educational etc gains on display. Attend a golden jubilee anniversary activity. Overnight Accra

Day 9: Thursday March 8. Check out from hotel early today and depart for the Ashanti region from here. Ashanti-The Ashanti Region is a kingdom of gold, history & culture.Occupying a central portion of modern Ghana, the region is the hub of the ancient kingdom of the Ashanti and still is the heartland of all Ashanti's irrespective of where they now may be. Check into hotel and rest for the rest of the afternoon. Overnight Kumasi.

Day 10: Friday March 9. Make an early morning visit to Owabi bird sanctuary to enjoy the sweet melodies of the birds. Have breakfast and continue to the craft villages surrounding Kumasi include:
- Bonwire-18 km NE of Kumasi - Home of the famous Kente cloth
- Ahwiaa-6km N of Kumasi-Wood Carvings
- Ntonsu-Adinkra Cloth Making.

Also visit the largest open air market in West Africa the Kejetia market. Overnight Kumasi.

Day 11: Saturday March 10. After breakfast, vist the Manhyia palace museum. The palace is the official residence of the King of Ashanti. Visit the palace museum. Visit the Kumasi fort and the cultural center. Overnight Kumasi

Day 12: Sunday March 11. Leave Kumasi early for Mole Park. The largest of Ghana’s National Parks and situated in the heart of the Guinea savannah woodland ecosystem, it is home to 93 mammalian species, 33 reptiles nine amphibians and an estimated 300 birds species. The mammals include some 600 elephants, 2,000 roam antelopes, 3,000 hartebeests, 4,000 waterbucks, 5,000 buffalo and some 6,000 warthogs. Uncounted lions, leopards, hyenas and various primates can also be seen in Mole. A total of 600km of game protection and viewing roads have been developed within the park. A basic 33-bed, no frills hotel facility, which overlooks an elephant bath, offers overnight accommodation and restaurant facilities. Additionally, composite facilities are available for visitors.Overnight Mole motel.

Day 13: Monday March 12. Enjoy morning safari at Mole park. Be at home with pristine Guinea savanna woodland and riverine forest. Relax at the platform near the Motel while you watch elephants and other animals visiting the two watering holes. Go on a safari with experienced armed guides. A variety of ungulates can be spotted at close range during game viewing drives. Abundant birdlife assured.

Day 14: March 13. Leave Mole to overnight Kumasi.

Day 15: March 14. After breakfast, leave Kumasi for Accra. Spend the rest of the afternoon at Labadi beach.

Day 16: March 15. Special activity day-Final day to enjoy a little bit more of this wonderful country. Do some more shopping or spend time at the beach. Check in at the airport to depart.
