This is a perfect extension to a fly-drive, city-package, or a cruise that begins and ends in Vancouver or Victoria. This extension allows time to discover Vancouver Island and all its wonders, from Cathedral Grove, Coombs Country Market, Qualicum River Falls, Long Beach, and Tofino.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Vancouver to Tofino
Vancouver to Tofino - Today you will bus or drive to the BC Ferries and sail to Nanaimo on Vancouver Island. Upon arrival you will drive west to Pacific Rim National Park and Tofino. You will travel through ancient rainforests & spectacular mountain passes to Long Beach and the Pacific Ocean. (Victoria passengers will drive north through the spectacular Malahatt)
Day 2: Tofino Exploring
Tofino Exploring - Today is a day of excitement. Early morning whale-watch to see the Grey Whales, Seals, Sea Lions and Sea Otters, Eagles and so much more. Back for lunch, (not included) then go bear-watching where mothers bring their cubs down to forage for food in the quiet inlets of Tofino. The rest of the day for exploration of Tofino and Long Beach and maybe the Wild Pacific trail. Free evening.
Day 3: Tour Ends
Morning checkout, then return to Vancouver or Victoria. We recommend a number of stops along the way. The Wild Pacific Trail, McLean’s Mill. Cathedral Grove, Qualicum River Falls Park, or Coombs Country Market for some last minute shopping. We will more than likely BCing you again. Tour ends.
