This tour can be a fly-drive or a mini-coach tour. You will cross from Vancouver to Vancouver Island on the BC Ferry and head west through the mountains to the Village of Tofino. From Tofino you will drive east then north to Campbell River for another full day of Sea kayaking. Explorer the inside coast and then travel back to Vancouver, or drive to the garden city of Victoria.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Vancouver to Tofino
Vancouver to Tofino – Today, take a Ferry ride to Vancouver Island. Then you will drive west from Nanaimo to the small village of Tofino. Enroute, we recommend stops at Cathedral Grove, Long Beach, and Pacific Rim National Park.
Day 2: Tofino Exploring
Tofino Exploring – Today you will take a 6-hour sea kayaking tour through Lemmon’s Inlet along beautiful Vargas Island shoreline. You will view spectacular beaches, rainforests and have opportunity for inter-tidal viewing. Upon returning, spend the rest of the day exploring the village, white sandy beaches, or even take a short drive to the fishing village of Ucluelet and take a walk on the spectacular Wild Pacific Trail.
Day 3: Tofino to Campbell River
Tofino to Campbell River – After a last walk on the beach, you will drive east through the town of Port Alberni, by Cathedral Grove to Coombs. A stop may be warranted for shopping. Then north to Campbell River. Free evening.
Day 4: Campbell River Exploring
Campbell River Exploring –Today is another spectacular day of sea kayaking. Your Guided Sea Kayak Day Tour will start with you being picked up at your hotel, launching from Heriot Bay on Quadra Island and paddling over to Breton Islands for a lunch on the beach and then back again. Then a free evening to explore the town of Campbell River or just relax from a day of paddling.
Day 5: Campbell River to Vancouver
Tour Ends.
