This driving tour begins in Calgary and combines the beauty of Vancouver, Victoria and Whistler with the majesty of the Canadian Rockies and relaxing shores of the Shuswap Lake region. You will travel through prairie plains, rolling foothills, soaring mountains, lush valleys, coastal rainforest, quaint towns and vibrant cities.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrive Calgary
Arrive in Calgary – Upon arrival, either pick up your rental car at the airport or transfer independently to your downtown hotel. Your Exclusive Documentation Package will be waiting for you at the front desk when you check in.

Day 2: Calgary to Banff

Calgary to Banff – The two-hour drive from Calgary takes you from flat prairies to rolling foothills and finally to towering peaks.

Day 3: Banff Exploring
Banff Exploring – A ride up Sulphur Mountain Gondola is included, offering stunning views of the Canadian Rockies. The rest of your options for the day are many: hiking, trailriding, golf, and shopping.

Day 4: Banff to Lake Louise
Banff to Lake Louise – This is one of the most scenic drives in the world, along the Icefields Parkway through the heart of the Canadian Rockies. You’ll see the Athabasca and Sunwapta Falls, Athabasca Glacier (a snowcoach excursion on the Columbia Icefields is optional), Bow Lake, Peyto Lake, and the Crowfoot Glacier. Again, keep watch for wildlife!

Day 5: Lake Louise to Shuswap Lake
Lake Louise to Shuswap Lake – As you travel west through Roger’s Pass to British Columbia through Yoho and Glacier National Park, you’ll see breathtaking mountain vistas. Tonight’s accommodation is on Shuswap Lake, nestled on sandy shores.

Day 6: Shuswap Lake to Whistler
Shuswap Lake to Whistler – Continue west through cattle country and then south through the mountains of the Chilcotin wilderness. You’ll end the day in the resort community of Whistler, one of the premier resort destinations in the world. Take in the ambience of outdoor cafes, boutiques and soaring mountains.

Day 7: Whistler to Victoria
Whistler to Victoria – Departing Whistler, you will drive for approximately 2 hours along the scenic Sea to Sky Highway. When you reach Horseshoe Bay, you will board a ferry for the 1_-hour trip to Vancouver Island and the city of Nanaimo. From here, travel south on the Malahatt Highway to Victoria, making sure you stop in the artisan community of Chemainus to view the murals painted on buildings throughout town. Stop also in Duncan and visit the informative and popular Native Heritage Centre. Once you reach Victoria, stroll its quaint streets and take in the city at your leisure.

Day 8: Victoria to Vancouver
Victoria to Vancouver – Take the day to explore Victoria. Admission to the world famous Butchart Gardens and Royal B.C. Museum is included. A whale-watching excursion by Zodiac or hard-hull boat is an option. In the evening, you will travel by car and ferry to Vancouver, winding through beautiful Active Pass.

Day 9: Vancouver Exploring
Vancouver Exploring – Stanley Park, a vibrant downtown and dozens of attractions to choose from. Spend the day exploring Canada’s West Coat Gem. Included is admission to the Capilano Suspension Bridge and Lookout tower

Day 10: Tour ends in Vancouver
Tour Ends - Return your rental car to the Vancouver International Airport.
