Day 2: Buffalo Mountain Lodge, Banff
Enjoy the stunning mountain environment on your first Activity of Choice. Later, explore Banff or visit the quaint shops and art studios in the mountain town of Canmore with our handy tips. Tonight savour a Canadian Rockies dinner that will tantalize your senses;
Day 3: Purcell Lodge, in the Back-Country near Golden, BC
Journey to Golden, BC, for your spectacularly scenic helicopter flight into the remote Purcell Lodge. Bask in the breathtaking surroundings of this peaceful backcountry lodge. You’ll have time to explore on a short walk or hike in the high alpine meadows before indulging in a wonderful meal surrounded by outstanding views;
Day 4: Purcell Lodge, in the Back-Country near Golden, BC
Explore the spectacular meadows and mountains with your professional guide. There are multiple hiking options and you will be matched with a hike appropriate to your abilities and interests. You may choose to relax in the lodge with a book, test your skills flying a kite, walk amongst the wildflowers, hone your photography skills or just enjoy the amazing views and peace. Indulge in the wood fired sauna after dinner, or watch an unforgettable sunset;
Day 5: Purcell Lodge, in the Back-Country near Golden, BC
Get treated to another day in paradise similar to yesterday’s adventure. Enjoy another fine dinner this evening featuring hearty backcountry cuisine;
Day 6: Emerald Lake Lodge, Yoho National Park
Be inspired with a final morning hike before catching the helicopter back to civilization. Refer to your Travel Journal for suggestions on exploring as you make your way to Yoho National Park. Enjoy Emerald Lake’s serene beauty this evening while indulging your taste buds in a dinner featuring Rocky Mountain inspired cuisine. Tonight, stargaze from the outdoor hot tub or take a romantic walk around the lake;
Day 7: Return Home
Say good-bye to the peaceful and natural surroundings of the Emerald Lake. Complete the final leg or your Canadian Rockies journey and make your way to the Calgary International Airport. Return home with a lifetime of unforgettable memories from your Far and Away adventure!
