Ganesh Himal Trekking Itineraries

Day 01. Kathmandu to Trisuli Bazaar: Approximately 4 to 5 hours drive, one can reach at this place for camping.

Day 02. Trisuli Bazaar to Deurali: It is a small village occupied by a mixed up culture, but they are very kind of each other. Along the route one can view Trisuli valley, an Interesting place.

Day 03. Deurali to Kimdang Phedi: Mountain views are wonderful along with the other attractive scenes.

Day 04. Kimdang Phedi to Kuri: From this point slight height will start on trek. This is a good way to acclimatise for those who want trek to high altitude.

Day 05. Kuri to Borang: It is a place where people have settled their village. This place is the major, having special difference in compare to other villages around. Tamang people are the main tribe in this area.

Day 06. Borang to Chalise: This area is occupied by Gurung people. The Ganesh Himal's peaks are mind blowing. Houses are unique in the point of constructions. Poles are wooden whereas stone and clay construct floors.

Day 07. Chalise to Bheda Kharka: Sharthung and Tibethu villages teamed with Tamang. The views from the villages are really magnificent. Then you have to cross the jungle, in spring time full of Rhododendrons, clear views of major peaks like Ganesh Himal I, II, III and IV, Manasalu, Boudha Himal, Gorkha Himal, including other minor mountain peaks.

Day 08. Bheda Kharka to Panorama pass: Long ranges of mountains could be seen, such as Goshaikund to Manasalu Himal. One can also catch sight of birds, because there is a thick forest with different kind of trees.

Day 09. Rest Day: Excursion trip to single pass towards to Jogeswarkund Lake.

Day 10. Passing to Somdang Phedi: We will cross a pass known as Yuri Kharka from where we have a spectacular view of Langtang Himal. On the way to cross the Jungle you can enjoy the colorful Rhododendron flowers (in spring), and wild life may be seen if some one is lucky.

Day 11. Somdang Phedi to Gotlang: It is a low place and some villages are beautiful. It is a little hot place in compare to other camping spots.

Day 12. Gotlang to Syabru Bensi.

Day 13. Drive back to Kathmandu by bus.
