Day 1: Banff. Welcome to Calgary, Alberta! Using the directions in your personalized travel journal, enjoy drive through the Christmas lights of the city as you travel west toward the spectacular snow-capped Canadian Rocky Mountains. Arriving in breathtaking Banff, get into the holiday spirit as you stroll along the festive shops and restaurants, decorated for the season. Day 2: Banff. Wake to a snow white cosy morning. Today, you'll discover, "what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh!" as your partner snuggles close on your private sleigh ride in Banff (or trade for any local experience of your choice). Gaze at the elk and deer grazing the winter meadows as your sleigh glides gently through the fresh snow. Tonight, soak your muscles in the steamy outdoor hot tub. Day 3: Banff. Wake early and if lucky this morning, discover a firey pink sunrise, then check our personalized travel journal, for suggestions on unique things to see and do in the area. Perhaps enjoy an ice skate at Banff's favourite spot on the River or browse for hand-crafted Christmas presents at the studio's and boutiques in nearby town of Canmore. Day 4: Lake Louise. Today explore breathtaking scenery on your drive to Lake Louise and be sure to have your camera ready as you pass by many majestic snow-capped peaks, trickling creeks and waterfalls suspended in ice. Discover a peaceful, winter scene dotted with heaping snow banks and crackling wood burning fireplaces. Upon arrival in Lake Louise, take in the incredible view of the frozen Lake with a backdrop of magnificent blue ice hanging from Victoria Glacier in the distance. Day 5: Lake Louise. Day 6: Lake Louise. Enjoy your final full day in Lake Louise exploring the mountains and holiday festivities at your leisure.
