Your Itinerary:
Day 1: Sunday - Athens
Arrive in Athens.Transfer to your hotel, Philippos,(or similar) located just 5 min. walking distance to the Akropolis. Afternoon at leisure to visit the Akropolis and to explore the old Athens quarter - Plaka- with its hundred and hundreds of picturesque shops and taverns. Overnight Athens.
Day 2: Monday - Myconos
After breakfast, and after a pre aaranged time transferred to the Piraeus Cruise Terminal and board the cruise vessel Ocean Monarch for the trip to Mykonos. Arrive in the afternoon. Transfer to your hotel Petasos in town or Petasos Bay near the beach in Plati Yialos. Overnight in Mykonos.
Day 3: Tuesday - Myconos
At leisure to explore this cosmopolitan island, combining the sophisticated lifestyle with the simple yet charming life of this Cycladic island. Stroll through the maze of narrow streets, marvel the tiny chapels and whitewashed houses with their flower-filled balconies. Relax on the waterfront, enjoy the sunset and later on rich nigh-life of Mykonos. In the morning, take an optional trip by boat to the sacred island of Delos and return at noon. Overnight in Mykonos.
Day 4: Wednesday - Myconos
At leisure for swimming, sightseeing, shopping. Take an optional trip by high-speed ferry (20 min) to the nearby island of Tinos - the Lourdes of Greece. Or visit the island of Paros. Overnight on Mykonos.
Day 5: Thursday - Myconos
At leisure. Just get lost on Mykonos town.This is inevitable a part of the game.Play with your partner.The streets have been built that way to confuse pirates. Long before you become nervous you will have caught a glimpse of the sea and retrieved the waterfront. You might usefully spare an hour for the towns 3 museums. The Archaeological Museum, The Musuem of Popular Art near the church of Paraportiani and the Maritime Museum.
Day 6: Friday - Cruise Mykonos – Kusadsi
Morning free. In the evening transfer to the port and embark the cruise vessel Aegean One or Perla and start the 4-day cruise to the beautiful Greek islands and Turkey. Sail at 10:00 pm. Overnight onboard.
Day 7: Saturday - Kusadsai – Patmos
Arrive in Turkey - Kusadasi port at 07:00 am. A picturesque town with many opportunities for flea market shopping. Nearby lays the ancient city of Ephessus, founded by the Athenians. A tour of Ephessus will allow you to discover a treasure of Greek, Hellenistic and Roman monuments, which witness the past power and prosperity of this city. Sail at 12:00 for Patmos. Arrive at 4:00 pm. Very often Patmos is called the Jerusalem of the Aegean Sea. It is the sacred island where St. John the Divine, whilst in exile, wrote the Book of Revelation. Built 900 years ago the Monastery of St. John is an impressive structure with outstanding interior frescoes. Visit the grotto where St. John lived and actually wrote the Book of Revelation. Sail at 9:00 pm. Overnight onboard.
Day 8: Sunday - Patmos – Heraklion – Santorini
At 07:00 am arrive in Heraklion, Crete. The well-known archaeological site of Knossos is situated just 3 miles away from the town center.The Palace of Knossos was not only the residence of the ruling house but also an administrative and religious for the whole region. The Archaeological Museuem of Herklion exhibits a fine display of Minoan culture discovered during the excavations of Knossos. Sail at 11:30 for Santorini. Arrive Santorini at 4:30 pm.. Santorini, considered to be the lost continent of Atlantis. Enjoy one of the most beautiful sunsets in the world. Sail at 9:00 pm. Overnight aboard.
Day 9: Monday - Piraeus
At 0730 in the morning you will be transferred to your hotel down town Overnight.
Day 10: Tuesday - Departure
After a pre arranged time you will be transferred to the airport. End of services.
