We offer several escorted tour and independent travel vacations to Egypt, our packages combine Nile River cruises with Cairo, Aswan, Kom Ombo, Luxor and more.
Your Itinerary:
Day 1: Thursday - Depart to Egypt today.
Day 2: Friday - Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be met and assisted through customs and formalities, then transferred to your hotel. Balance of the day is at leisure. This evening you may enjoy an optional Sound and Light presentation at the Giza Pyramids. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 3: Saturday - Day at Leisure, or option to visit the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, which houses the worlds largest collection of artifacts from the era of the pharaohs including some belonging to King Tut. Or tour Old Cairo, where early Judaism and Christianity flourished in Egypt. Visit sites like the Ben Ezra Synagogue, and the Moallaka Church where the Virgin Mary, Joseph, and the baby Jesus took refuge. Spend the afternoon at the Great Pyramids of Giza built for Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos, and the defending Sphinx. An optional visit to the Solar Boat Museum can also be made. Overnight in Cairo. Day 4: Sunday - The day is at leisure or choose an optional half day tour to ancient Memphis, the first capital of Upper and Lower Egypt. Also visit Sakkara, site of the Step Pyramid of Zoser. Overnight in Cairo. Included: (B)
Day 5: Monday - The day is at leisure or choose an optional half day tour to the Islamic quarter to visit the Great Citadel and the Mohamed Ali Mosque, also known as the "Alabaster Mosque." Overnight in Cairo. Included: (B)
Day 6: Tuesday - The day is at leisure. This evening you may enjoy an optional dinner cruise on the Nile around Cairo. Savor Egyptian and continental cuisines, entertained by belly-dancing and folklore music. Overnight in Cairo. Included: (B)
Day 7: Wednesda - You will be transferred to Cairo Airport for your return flight. Included: (B)
