Day 1: Pick up at Kilimanjaro International Airport, (KIA), have dinner and spend the night in Arusha.

Day 2: After an early breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National park for your first exciting game drive. Manyara usually offers sightings of lion, giraffe, elephants and troops of olive baboon. Spend the night in the small village of Karatu at Kudu Lodge.

Day 3: Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the eight wonder of the world 'Ngorongoro Crater' for game viewing. You'll have an excellent opportunity to see all of the 'Big Five'. In the afternoon, drive to Nainokanoka village and hike up Ol Moti Crater, a shallow grassy crater and with a beautiful cascading waterfall. Camp under the stars at Nainokanoka ranger post.

Day 4: Drive to Embulbul depression, and start hiking again with small day packs, to the rim of Empakai crater, we will have our cook arrange a dinner at camp that night so we'll have time to listen to the strange sound of flamingos migrating to other soda lakes.

Day 5: After breakfast, descend into Empakai crater, a very beautiful "bowl" of nature, containing the deepest soda lake in the world. Get a chance to approach the pink cloud of flamingos, just ten meters away, before ascending to the rim and embarking on another crater floor game drive.

Day 6: Drive to Oldupai Gorge to see the remnants of our ancestors who inhabited the area about 3 million years ago. There you can see excavated bones and footprints which have been fossilized in volcanic ash. In the afternoon we will proceed to Seronera camp in Serengeti National Park, world famous for its huge plains and big migration of animals.

Day 7: Spend all day on the Serengeti plain, you might sight big prides of lions, leopards, migrating herds, giant elephants, antelope, and more. Sleep at Seronera camp.

Day 8: After a sunrise game drive from Seronera in the Serengeti, leave for our Maasai village visit. Here you will be introduced to the intricacies of Maasai life and have a chance to interact with the many young children from the different families living in the village bomas. They will be excited to show you their homes and take digital pictures with you. Come nightfall, we'll share stories and songs about Maasai origin. You'll have the opportunity to sleep in a Maasai home or in comfortable camping arrangements.

Day 9: Climb mount Makarot where you can see the Serengeti plain, Ndutu plains, and Lake Eyasi (your next destination). Return to Missigiyo for another night with the Maasai; we'll make a big fire and share a traditional goat roast with new friends.

Day 10: Drive to Lake Eyasi game controlled area. Stay at Lake Eyasi Bushmen camp where we'll visit the Hadzabe (Bushmen). This nomadic tribe sleeps under the trees and eats through hunting and gathering. Take time to shoot bow and arrow and go hunting with them in the evening.

Day 11: Drive back through Karatu stopping to visit an Iraqw traditional boma. Carry on to Tarangire National Park where you might witness big herds of African tuskers, gigantic baobab trees, tree climbing pythons, and poachers hide. Stay at Tarangire river lodge.

Day 12: Spend the morning touring the Silale swamps, and then drive all the way back to Arusha for some afternoon shopping in the market. We'll share final banquet in the evening before heading to the airport for the flight back home.
