Day 1: London
Arrive in London and transfer to The Haymarket Hotel, your stylish home for the next three nights. After unpacking and freshening up, stretch your legs on a leisurely art and architecture walk, starting with a visit to the Sir John Soane Museum, an amazing, visually rich 19th century art collection, continuing on via Somerset House, home of the renowned Courtauld Institute, and finishing at the provocative Saatchi Gallery.
Afterwards if you are keen to see more you may catch the Tate catamaran (covered in polka dots by Damien Hirst) for a leisurely cruise up the Thames, ending at the Tate Modern, for a stroll through the Tate collection. If the jet lag sets in you may prefer to simply relax with a book or enjoy a massage at the hotel. This evening, we highly recommend Fifteen, the restaurant of Jamie Oliver (of “Naked Chef ’ fame) and one of our favourites. It is tough to beat for its creative tasting menu matched with flights of wines in the restaurant’s cellar.

Day 2: London
Sleep in and enjoy a leisurely breakfast, then transfer to the Opening Rounds at Wimbledon. Jump the queues and take your seats on centre court with at one of the most famous tennis venues in the world. Indulge in strawberries and cream, a glass of chilled Pimm’s and afternoon tea in the sun; all images synonymous with a great day out at Wimbledon. Today’s matches are first round matches, and while the exact schedule won’t be finalized until closer to the date, you can be sure that there will be a variety of exciting singles matches to watch, whether on Centre Court or on any of the outside courts.

Day 3: London
Sleep in and enjoy a relaxed breakfast. This morning is yours to explore London on your own. The hotel is perfectly located to wander through Mayfair, Regent Street, and Jermyn Street for some shopping. Trafalgar Square and the National Gallery are just around the corner, the London Eye and the Tate Modern a short walk away, and the superb array of West End theatre is literaly at your doorstep.
This afternoon, set out for a second day of Centre Court viewing at Wimbledon. Enjoy the spectacle of the parade of hats on display, from the fantastic to the sublime, from the quirky to the extravagant. Watch world class players fight for the championship, and if you’re lucky, watch Federer fight to claim his fifth successive Wimbledon title as he seeks to surpass the legacy of Sampras.
