Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Sunday. Departure from the dock of Iquitos, sailing on the mighty Amazon River. Lunch on board, enjoying a good Amazonian buffet. Arrival to the zone of the Tahuayo River, where we will have an excursion on boat to appreciate a great variety of Amazonian birds with amazing colors. Then we will have some fishing time, and our guide will explain us about the name of the fishes that we catch. Dinner on board and to listen the guide explaining about the program of the next day that will be very interesting.
Day 2: Monday. Arrival to Nauta Caņo Location, where one of the biggest rivers is born - the Amazons river. Here we will observe the junctures of Maraņon and Ucayali Rivers, here we will make an expedition on boat accompanied by the guide who will give us an explanation about the life of the birds and its very peculiar characteristics. We will have a pleasant breakfast, awhile we are continuing our route. We will arrive to Casual Land, where we will make a spectacular walk by the almost virgin and mysterious jungle, crowed of fantastic histories and colors that you won't forget.
Lunch on board in our fresh and comfortable dining room. You could appreciate the arrival to the mouth of the Tiger River one of the main affluent of our great Amazon River, we will have an excursion on boat to have some fishing and pink and gray dolphins. Later we will see a beautiful sunset. Dinner on board, soon you will have one night of relax, looking the stars from the amazonian heaven.
Day 3: Tuesday. Arrival to the small "Avispa Village", a very colorful place where we will have an expedition on boat in which we will be able to appreciate the great variety of wild life that exist in those places of the nature. After breakfast we will prepare for the following adventure. At the same Village (Avispa Village), we will have a long and excited walk, observing the daily life of the local people and their main activity.
They will be able to interchange some products. Lunch on board, already returning to the boat. Let's prepare to have an unforgettable fishing, where you will be the protagonist. Enjoy your dinner on board and we spend the night sailing.
Day 4: Wednesday. Arrival to the Small Village of the Huacachina, where we will make an expedition in one of our boats, and we will make sighting of birds, each sighting is different from the other. Breakfast on board. We will make a walk to appreciate the great variety of trees and medicinal plants which are very useful for all the villagers, who take advantage of the nature kindness. Lunch on board.
Resting time for the passenger, you will be able to recover in the tower view of our ship, in the hammocks place, reading a good book that you will find in the dining room or taking a nap in your cabins, because the next activity will require of all your senses! We will go to a very singular nocturnal excursion, where we will be able to listen in a total silence, the magical sounds of our nature, this experienced is unforgettable. Returning to the boat, you will have dinner on board.
Day 5: Thursday. Breakfast on board. Later we will visit the community of Santa Clara, a very colorful place, where you will be able to appreciate the town. And the local people which live in harmony with the nature of the rain forest. We will walk in the middle of the jungle looking for a gorge, the one who wishes will be able to take a bath or to practice fishing surrounded by pink and gray dolphins.
Lunch on board. Expedition on boat where we will look for an appropriate place to take a bath in the same Tiger River and to enjoy it. A pleasant dinner on board. We will have a night excursion to look for caymans and another animals of the night.
Day 6: Friday. We will be sailing on the Maraņon River until the beginning of the Amazons River, we will be able to appreciate the mouth of the rivers Ucayali and Maraņon, a unforgettable moment. Then we will get into the Yarapa River, here the river is very narrow and crowed of vegetation. We will visit the Community of La Libertad where we will be able to make interchange of handicrafts made by the villagers. Lunch on board. We will do a mixed expedition of fishing and bird watching. Dinner on board. Gratefulness and Goodbye words of the captain.
Day 7: Saturday. Arrival to the city of Iquitos, we hope that you have had an unforgettable trip and we will wait for a soon return.
