Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Transfer from Belize Airport to Bird's Eye View Lodge near the Crooked Tree Wildlife Sanctuary; Arrive Bird's Eye View Lodge for lunch, check-in followed by lunch and afternoon birding walk near lodge; return to lodge for dinner; Overnight Bird's Eye View Lodge
Day 2: Early Am bird walk; breakfast followed by 3 hour guided Birding/Boating Lagoon Cruise return to lodge for lunch; Dinner and overnight Bird's Eye View Lodge; optional Crocodile Night Safari (2 hrs) $35.00 per person
Day 3: Breakfast and guided birding tour in the Pine Savannah area; return to lodge for lunch; afternoon birding around the lodge; Dinner and overnight Bird’s Eye View Lodge.
Day 4: Early AM bird walk; breakfast and lunch at the lodge followed by an afternoon visit to Altun Ha Mayan site; return to lodge for dinner.
Nov 22-25 Lamanai Outpost Lodge/Return to Airport
Day 5: Lamanai (Submerged crocodile). After breakfast, travel by land to Orange Walk Boat Dock, at 8:30 am take an hour and one-half boat ride on the New River through the jungle to visit the archaeological site of Lamanai where a local naturalist will guide you. Picnic lunch at Lamanai. After lunch you will be transferred by land to Lamanai Outpost Lodge. Check-in and dinner. Overnight Lamanai Outpost Lodge.
Day 6: Jungle Dawn Nature/Birding Hike (2 hours) with private guide; return to lodge for breakfast; relax around the lodge; lunch followed by guided birding walk near the lodge; dinner and overnight at lodge.
Day 7: Early morning guided bird walk followed by breakfast and transfer to Belize International Airport for return flight home. Optional stop at the Belize Zoo depending on departure time.
