Later we will visit the Yanamono village to know the Trapiches where the sugarcane rum is elaborated.

We will be able to sample the various drinks and molasses, made here. If you wish you will be able to buy it. While the dinner we will be sailing down river and the guide will explain the next day activities. Later you will be able to observe the amazonian sky and brightness stars from our viewing point located in the prow.

Day 2: Friday. Early wake up call with time for a cup of coffee or tea before setting out in an excursion boat for a birdwatching trip on the Ampiyacu River. Our guide will explain about the main characteristics of the species you will observe. Later we will return to the ship for breakfast, after breakfast we will visit a Huitoto/Bora Indian village and see these people's lifestyle.

They will invite us to their Maloka to view their traditional dances. Even though they no longer wear these outfits made from jungle products, our visit will help to keep their traditions alive. You will have the opportunity to buy or trade their handicraft and dance for us. Interesting paintings of jungle scenes done on tree-bark cloth, jewelry, hammocks and bags.

Returning to the ship we will leave toward the small town of Pevas, the oldest European settlement on the Peruvian Amazon. Visit the studio and gallery of a known Peruvian painter, Francisco Grippa, who lives in a beautiful wood house with a viewing tower where you will be able to observe and take pictures.

After lunch on board we will have a small walk in the rain forest near the Shishita River where our guide will describe and explain any of the trees and plants used by the local people. After this we will return to the ship for dinner and talk about the busy day we had. We will have an excursion by boat to look for cayman and nocturnal wildlife, it depends on the weather.
