The express Uganda Safari to trek the "Wild" but habituated Mountain gorillas of Bwindi and the Virunga Volcanoes. Gorilla trekking is a strenuous activity and should be attempted by the physically fit!
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: On arrival at Entebbe Air Port, you will be met by our representatives who will transfer you to Kampala for a safari briefing, if time is convenient take a 3 hour road transfer to Mbarara for overnight at the Regency Lakeview Hotel.
Day 2: Morning departure for the southern rout, stopover and have lunch at the White Horse Inn in Kabale, proceed through the beautiful evergreen mountain country referred to as the Little Switzerland of Africa. Arrive early evening for dinner and overnight at Gorilla Forest Camp.
Day 3: Have an early breakfast to be in time for a briefing by park ranger guides. Head out with a picnic lunch, expect 30 minutes - 8 hours trek to find the Mountain gorillas. The tracking starts at the area where the gorillas were left the previous day. After a full hour with the gorillas, return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight at Gorilla Forest Camp or Mgahinga Safari Lodge.
Day 4: Take a morning walk in the forest to the Magnificent Waterfalls in search of the Blue Monkeys, Grey Cheeked Mangabeys, Red Tails and other forest dwellers. Thereafter transfer to Mbarara for dinner, lunch and overnight at the Regency Lakeview Hotel.
Day 5: After an early morning breakfast, set off headed for Entebbe Airport for your departure flight.
