The abundant forests, lakes, rivers, and Savannah mountains-even the towns and cities-are bursting with life of every kind. Here there are over 1000 bird species, the greatest variety of primates in the world, big game, vast river fish, bright torrents of butterflies, and an endless spectrum of life’s infinite variety.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Early morning drive North West through the famous Luwero triangle from Kampala - Masindi town and then to the national park via Kichumba Nyumbo gate. Have picnic lunch break at the top of the falls where you can be able to see the Niles beauty perfected. You will have dinner and overnight at one of the campsites in the national park.
Day 2: Take an early morning Game drive via the Nyamusika plateau and Albert track you may be able to see elephants, lions, giraffes, and Buffaloes Hartebeests among others. After lunch proceeds for a launch cruise along the Victoria Nile up stream to the base of the falls. En route you will be able to see hippos, crocodiles basking along the river banks, water barks and a variety of bird species including African Fish eagles and the rare Shoe Bills among others.
Then proceed to the North Eastern part of the park and you will be able to view animals like lions, leopards, antelopes, kobs, Harstebeasts, giraffes, chimps and monkeys among others. In the evening evening return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Early morning travel to Kibale National park arriving late in the evening.
Day 4: This park is a home of habituated Chimpanzees and is a home of an astonishing twelve species of primates. Early morning go for Chimpanzee tracking in this tropical rain forest where you will get the opportunity of viewing forest elephants, bush bucks, red, black and white colobus monkeys, red tailed monkeys, blue monkeys, and olive baboons among others. Return to the Lodge and relax have dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 5: Early morning set off to Queen Elizabeth National Park for game drive and have an opportunity of seeing a variety if wildlife including elephants, baboons, buffaloes, knobs, warthogs, water bucks, impalas, leopards, lions, and the exclusive Giant Forest Hog and sight seeing is a real triumph.
In the evening go for the launch cruise on Kazinga channel with reveals a stunning panorama of lake George and Edward amidst game – filled plains.
You will be able to see birds like Grey Leroine piking Fishers, Fish eagles, sparuang Grover, palmnur voucher, cattle Eaglets, Thick nee, yellow plowed stock, Bladen Ibis, Grey headed King Fisher and African Jacain among others. In the evening return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Early morning set off to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park passing through Ishasha and you will be able to view the tree climbing lions on your way to Bwindi. Arriving at the park late evening, have dinner and overnight at Buhoma Community Rest Camp.
Day 7: After early breakfast go for the briefing and set off for Gorilla trekking. It will be a great privilege to visit enormously powerful and gentle creatures in their spectacular natural habitat. The Climax of the day is when these graceful creatures are being viewed in such a close range. In the evening return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 8: Set off early morning to Kampala reaching late evening.
