Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Port Elizabeth. Overnight Addo. We travel from the airport to the Addo Elephant Park and visit the park. After lunch we return back to Port Elizabeth and book in at our hotel before we visit some places of interest in the city. We could overnight at a wonderful Cosmos Cuisine Guest House at Addo with its World class mouth watering cuisine.
Day 2: Addo/Port Elizabeth towards Knysna. Overnight at Knysna. After breakfast we travel towards Knysna we can visit some of these places of interest; Bloukrans bridge – where you can bridge bungi jump, the worlds highest bridge jump 216m; The Big Tree (a 800 year old yellowwood tree); Storms River mouth and the Tsitsikamma forest; Bloukrans & Grootrivier passes; Beacon Island at Plettenberg Bay and many more before we enter Knysna, we also could take a late afternoon boat trip on the Knysna lagoon. We could overnight at the luxurious & largest Timber log structure in southern hemisphere Knysna Log Inn.
Day 3: Knysna towards Oudtshoorn. Overnight at Oudtshoorn. After breakfast you could take a ride on an old steam train, if in operation, towards George where you will be pick up and travel further via the Outeniqua pass towards Oudtshoorn, the Ostrich capital of the world. At Oudtshoorn you could visit SA’s largest and world renowned caves, the Cango Caves; a pure Afrikaner lunch at Kobus se Gat with a trip on the Swartberg pass is also possible and if time permits you can visit the Cango Wildlife Centre before we travel to our accommodation. We could overnight at the luxury Thylitshia Villa Country Guesthouse an private Ostrich farm where we could have an fascinating tour on the farm and learn more about Ostrich farming.
Day 4: Oudtshoorn towards Albertina. Overnight at Albertina. An early morning Balloon ride is possible with Oudtshoorn Ballooning after breakfast we will travel towards Mossel Bay. Mossel Bay is known for its fine weather & beaches, it’s believed to be the second best in the world next to Hawaii. You can visit the “Old Post Office” tree & the Diaz museum. You could also do some Great white shark cage diving, a thrilling experience with Shark Africa or whale watching or maybe just a boat trip around the bay with Romonza Boat Trips before we travel to our accommodation. On our way towards our accommodation we could visit the aloe factory at Albertina for a short tour and those who wants to buy some of the aloe products. We could overnight at the picturesque Zoutpan Farm Guest House with its excellent wellness centre.
Day 5: Albertina. Overnight at Albertina. A day of leisure, some possibilities: horse riding; a wellness centre visit; ostrich farm visit; Aloe farming & other farming activities and also a possibility of visiting Still Bay. We could overnight at the picturesque Zoutpan Farm Guest House.
Day 6: Albertina towards Stellenbosch. Overnight at Stellenbosch. After breakfast we travel towards Swellendam, the 3rd oldest European town in SA, you could visit some of the historical site in town & a possible visit to the Wildebraam Liqueurs Farm and a taste ting. We will travel through some of SA’s fruit & wine farming area, at Worcester you can visit a wine farms & cellars with a possible wine tour and have lunch at Nuy Valley Restaurant & Conradie wine cellars. We could overnight at the luxurious Rusthuiz Guest House.

Day 7: Stellenbosch towards Cape Town. Overnight at Cape Town. After breakfast we can travel towards Muizenberg, Simon’s Town, Boulders Penguins & Cape Point. After lunch we head back to Cape Town via Kommetjie & Chapman’s peak drive, if it’s open for traffic, if we have time we can visit Hout Bay where you can visit a pearl factory before we enter Cape Town. We could overnight at the historical building but the new Cape Diamond Hotel is classical decorated.
Day 8: Cape Town. Overnight at Cape Town. If weather permits we can visit Table Mountain and cable cart. Signal hill. The Castle of Good Hope (the oldest preserved western building in South Africa) & SA parliament. Late afternoon we can visit the Victoria & Alfred waterfront till after dinner. We could overnight at the historical building but the new Cape Diamond Hotel is classical decorated.
Day 9: Cape Town. Overnight on the airplane. After breakfast you can visit Robben Island & V & A waterfront in the morning the afternoon you could visit Kirstenbosch botanical gardens before we travel to Cape Town International airport for your flight back home.
