Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Cape Town. Overnight at Cape Town. After breakfast we can travel towards Muizenberg, Simon’s Town, Boulders Penguins & Cape Point. After lunch we head back to Cape Town via Kommetjie & Chapman’s peak drive, if it’s open for traffic, if we have time we can visit Hout Bay where you can visit a pearl factory before we enter Cape Town. We could overnight at the wonderful Ritz Hotel with its rotating restaurant at the top overlooking Cape Town.

Day 2: Cape Town. Overnight at Cape Town. If weather permits we can visit Table Mountain and cable cart. Signal hill. The Castle of Good Hope (the oldest preserved western Building in South Africa) & SA parliament. Late afternoon we can visit the Victoria & Alfred waterfront till after dinner. We could overnight at the wonderful Ritz Hotel with its rotating restaurant at the top overlooking Cape Town.

Day 3: Cape Town towards Worcester. Overnight at Worcester. After breakfast you can visit Robben Island & V & A waterfront in the morning the afternoon you could visit Kirstenbosch botanical gardens before we travel through some of SA’s fruit & wine farming area, at Worcester you can visit a wine farms & cellars with a possible wine tour and have lunch at Nuy Valley Restaurant & Conradie wine cellars. We could overnight at the Nuy Valley Guest Farm a working wine farm & cellars.

Day 4: Worcester towards Albertina. Overnight at Albertina. After breakfast we travel towards Swellendam, the 3rd oldest European town in SA, you could visit some of the historical site in town & a possible visit to the Wildebraam Liqueurs Farm and a taste ting. We will travel through some of SA’s fruit & wine farming area. We could overnight at the picturesque Zoutpan Farm Guest House some possibilities: horse riding; a wellness centre; ostrich farm; Aloe farming & other farming activities and also a possibility of visiting Still Bay.

Day 5: Albertina towards Oudtshoorn. Overnight at Oudtshoorn. After an early breakfast we travel towards Mossel Bay. Mossel Bay is known for its fine weather & beaches; it’s believed to be the second best in the world next to Hawaii. You can visit the "Old Post Office"’ tree & the Diaz museum. You could also do some Great white shark cage diving, a thrilling experience with Shark Africa or whale watching or maybe just a boat trip around the bay with Romonza Boat Trips before we travel towards Oudtshoorn, the Ostrich capital of the world. We could overnight at the luxury Thylitshia Villa Country Guesthouse an private Ostrich farm where we could have an fascinating tour on the farm and learn more about Ostrich farming.

Day 6: Oudtshoorn towards Knysna. Overnight at Knysna. An early morning Balloon ride is possible with Oudtshoorn Ballooning after breakfast you could visit SA’s largest and world renowned caves, the Cango Caves; a pure Afrikaner lunch at Kobus se Gat Restaurant with a trip on the Swartberg pass is also possible and a visit to the wonderful & exciting Cango Wildlife Ranch before we travel towards Knysna via George before we enter Knysna. At Knysna you could take a late afternoon boat trip on the Knysna lagoon. We could overnight at the luxurious Knysna Hollow Country Estate.

Day 7: Knysna towards Port Elizabeth Fly towards Durban. Overnight at Durban. After breakfast we travel towards Port Elizabeth we can visit some of these places of interest; Beacon Island at Plettenberg Bay; Bloukrans & Grootrivier passes; Storms River mouth and the Tsitsikamma forest; The Big Tree (a 800 year old yellowwood tree); Bloukrans bridge – where you can bridge bungee jump, the worlds highest bridge jump 216m are some of the visiting sites before we enter Port Elizabeth for the flight towards Durban. We could overnight at the City Lodge in Umhlanga.

Day 8: Durban towards Hluhluw. Overnight at Hluhluwe. A Durban City tour is possible. At Umhlanga you can visit the Natal Sharks Board. Near Balito are the first sugarcane press, its here that it all started. At Chaka’s Rock you can witness the rock, partly in the sea, where the coward impi’s of King Shaka had to jump into the sea, those who survived was accepted. Next door is Salt Rock where King Shaka’s people use to scrape salt from the rocks which he traded to passing ships. At KwaDakuza or better known as Stanger you can find the grave of King Shaka and a museum. At Mtunzini you could visit the Raffia Palm reserve and try to spot the elusive Palm Nut Vulture. A quick visit to Lake St. Lucia and if time permits a boat ride on the lake before we head for our lodge. We could overnight at the stunning Intibane Game Lodge.

Day 9: Hluhluwe. Overnight at Hluhluwe. An early morning game drive into the nearby Hluhluwe & Umfolozi Game Reserve and have a breakfast inside the park before we return at lunch time towards our lodge. We could overnight at the stunning Intibane Game Lodge.

Day 10: Hluhluwe towards Swaziland towards Kruger Park. Overnight at Kruger Park. On our travel we cross the border post into Swaziland with its friendly people and beautiful, clean landscapes. We enter SA at the Pigg’s Peak border post and head for Kruger Park. We overnight inside Kruger Park at one of the camps.

Day 11: Kruger Park. Overnight at Kruger Park. After an early morning game drive we have breakfast inside Kruger Park. A full day of enjoyable game spotting with all the beauty of nature. We overnight inside Kruger Park at one of the camps.

Day 12: Kruger Park towards Private Game Reserve. Overnight at Private Bush Lodge. After an early morning game drive we have breakfast inside Kruger Park. After breakfast you could have another game drive till lunch before you slowly travel towards one of the exit of the Kruger Park, a visit to the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Foundation which also has a brilliant cheetah research project. Your next stop will be one of the Private Game Lodges near the Kruger Park where you will overnight. We could overnight at the superb newly build Porcupine Bush Lodge with its excellent service.

Day 13: Private Game Reserve towards Graskop. Overnight at Graskop. After breakfast we could visit the Verster Coffee Estate for a short tour, at Graskop we could stop for a short tour at Africa Silks and also for lunch. After lunch a visit to some of the Drakensberg views; God’s Window, The Blyderiver canyon, Bourke’s Luck Potholes & 3 Rondawels with all its beauty. A possible visit to the old gold mine town of Pelgrim’s Rest before us overnight. We could overnight at the lovely Graskop Hotel.

Day 14: Graskop towards Johannesburg International Airport. Overnight on the Airplane. After breakfast we travel via the world renowned Long Tom Pass and its historical sites towards Lydenburg, and its attractions. After lunch we meet up with the N4 Hi-way, near the town of Belfast, one of Mpumalanga’s coldest towns, and then we will travel towards Johannesburg airport for your flight back home.
