Day 1: Uyuni-Colchani-Isla Incahuasi-San Juan o Chuvica. You will depart from Uyuni to Colchani to see how locals extract the salt and how it is processed. Also you will observe the ojos de sal which are sections where ice cold healing water bubbles through the salt. This water comes from an underground river from the Tunupa Volcano.

On the way to Isla Incahuasi you will see two hotels made entirely from salt blocks. At Isla Incahuasi you will have lunch and then explore the island with its amazing huge cactuses and other wildlife that lives in this rare habitat. In the afternoon you will arrive to San Juan where you can visit an old and famous church and the cemetery. Dinner and over night at Bellavista/Chuvica/San Juan. Includes: (L, D).

Day 2: Bellavista/Chuvica/San Juan - Paso León- Laguna Colorada. After breakfast, the journey starts by going through a military post at Chiguana, here you will need your passports. Continuing with our trip you will stop at Paso de Leon to observe the Ollagua Volcano, which is currently mildly active. You will stop at several lagoons such as Cañapa, Hedionda, Chiarcota, Honda and Ramiditas. Lunch. This part of the trip allows you to observe three different flamingo species such as James, Andean and Chilean. In the afternoon you will arrive to the beautiful Laguna Colorada, in the Eduardo Avaroa Andean Fauna National Reserve. Dinner and overnight. Includes: (B, L, D).

Day 3: Laguna Colorada- Laguna Verde. Today you start the day very early breakfast, and afterwards, visit the other natural attractions of the Eduardo Avaroa Reserve, such as the geysers that shoot sulphur steam high into the air. Stop at natural hot springs where you are welcome to soak for a while. Then you stop also at Laguna Verde at the base of the Licancabur Volcano to have lunch and later continue our trip back to Uyuni. Includes: (B, L).

Note: for those who are planning on making a direct connection to Chile, you leave the standard three-day tour after Laguna Verde, from where you will be transferred to San Pedro de Atacama. From here you can take a bus to Calama.
